On October 26, the Zhejiang Consumer Rights and Interests Protection Committee and the Zhejiang Brand Construction Federation jointly held the 2021 Zhejiang Characteristic Souvenir Evaluation Results Release Activity in Hangzhou. Cui Lijin, deputy director and secretary general of Zhejiang Consumer Protection Commission, Chen Zili, secretary general of Zhejiang Brand Building Federation and president of Zhejiang Standardization Research Institute, and other leaders attended the event.
According to reports, during the "3.15" period this year, the Zhejiang Consumer Rights and Interests Protection Committee and the Zhejiang Provincial Brand Construction Federation jointly issued the "2021 Zhejiang Characteristic Souvenir" product solicitation, which has received widespread attention from all walks of life. Enterprises across the province have enthusiastically declared, and consumer protection commissions at all levels have received more than 800 product declarations from more than 600 enterprises. The majority of consumers have also paid great attention to the "souvenir" products, and more than 3.9 million consumers have helped their favorite souvenir products through Douyin likes, WeChat voting and other ways. At the same time, in the on-site evaluation, experts and consumer representatives from the testing units, news media, etc., scored the participating products according to the six dimensions of regional sense, quality sense, sense of security, sense of culture, sense of acquisition and portability. After more than 6 months, after layers of screening through online voting and on-site evaluation, 60 products were finally selected into the list of 2021 Zhejiang characteristic souvenir products.
Cui Lijin, deputy director and secretary general of the Zhejiang Provincial Consumer Protection Commission, said at the launch event that the purpose of carrying out the Zhejiang characteristic souvenir evaluation activity is to establish the "golden business card" of Zhejiang characteristic consumer goods, launch the "Zhejiang Lilai consumption" brand, enhance the competitiveness and influence of Zhejiang manufacturing, boost the healthy development of Zhejiang's economy, effectively create a reassuring consumer environment for consumers, and further boost consumer confidence.
According to Chen Zili, secretary general of the Zhejiang Provincial Brand Construction Federation and president of the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Standardization, compared with the first Zhejiang characteristic souvenir products in 2020, the products evaluated this year have the following characteristics:
First, a variety of foods with strong local characteristics in Zhejiang are still the most concerned by consumers, Ningbo Tangyuan, Jinhua ham, Wenzhou duck tongue, Jiaxing Zongzi, Shaoxing yellow wine, Zhoushan seafood products, etc. have once again been shortlisted for Zhejiang characteristic souvenirs, and different brand products of the same category are still highly concerned by consumers;
Secondly, consumers are familiar with the long-established brand, well-known brands have a strong influence, Hu Qingyutang, Wang Xingji, Zhang Xiaoquan, Xiling Printing Agency, Wufangzhai, Tank Duck Dog, Xuefang Jiang and other century-old brand products with a long historical heritage, have been unanimously recognized by consumers and experts, Hu Qingyutang, Xiling Printing Agency, Wufangzhai and other enterprises on the basis of the first appraisal, this year have launched new entries, continue to be selected as consumers recognize the Zhejiang characteristic souvenirs;
As a major tea province, the tea varieties that have entered the Zhejiang characteristic souvenir are becoming more and more abundant, and the West Lake Longjing and Anji White Tea continue to be selected as zhejiang special souvenirs this year, and at the same time, 5 kinds of tea with different characteristics have been added, including Mogan Yellow Bud, Putuo Buddha Tea, Jigong Buddha Tea, Jinyun Yellow Tea, and West Lake Black Tea, which have become zhejiang characteristic souvenirs this year.
Handicrafts with obvious Zhejiang characteristics, under the continuous introduction of new products, consumers' attention has endured for a long time, Yue kiln, Ou kiln, Dongyang wood carving, lake pen, silk and other categories have been selected as Zhejiang characteristic souvenirs, becoming consumers' favorite souvenir products.
At the event site, the organizers issued the honorary certificate of 2021 Zhejiang Characteristic Souvenir to the enterprise representatives of 11 prefectures and cities, such as Zhejiang Laozhoushan Marine Biological Technology Co., Ltd. and Huijishan Shaoxing Wine Co., Ltd.
According to reports, the whole event was broadcast live on the WeChat and Douyin accounts of the Zhejiang Provincial Consumer Protection Commission, and some of the enterprises shortlisted for Zhejiang special souvenirs introduced the souvenir products in detail, which received a warm response from netizens.
