"I'll slap him!" After saying this, the Central Minister of India was arrested by the local police station...

India's New Delhi TELEVISION reported on August 25 that on the 24th local time, the police in Maharashtra, India, arrested Narayan Tatu Rane, minister of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Indian central government, and the reason was that the minister had previously mocked the chief minister (government leader) of the state, Uddhav Bal Thackeray, who did not know the year of India's independence (1947).

"India Express" reported on August 25 that on the 23rd local time, Narayan Rani mocked Thackera at a political rally in Maharashtra forgetting what year India was independent in his speech on the 15th, and finally had to ask his assistants.

"It is shameful that the chief minister does not even know the year of independence ... If I were there, I would slap him hard. ”

Narayan Rani and Udaf Thackeray were political enemies for many years. Udaf Thackray is currently the leader of the Shiv Sena, the ruling maharashtra party and India's far-right nationalist party, while Narayan Rani was expelled from the "Shiva Army" in 2005 for his defeat in a party struggle with Thackeray, and he subsequently joined the Indian Congress Party and later switched to India's current ruling people's party.

As soon as Rani's criticism of Thackeray came out, it immediately aroused the anger of members of the local "Shiva Army". On the 24th, a large number of members of the "Shiva Army" gathered in Front of Rani's house and the local Bharatiya Janata Party organization to make trouble, and at one point violently clashed with BJP supporters. The "Shiva Army" officials also reported to the police in Maharashtra, accusing Rani of "threatening civil servants, criminal intimidation, and breaching of peace" and other crimes, and finally the police in the state arrested Rani who was on a visit.

On the evening of the 24th local time, Rani was released on bail of 15,000 rupees (about 1,308 yuan), but he was asked to provide audio samples, reported to the police again on August 30 and September 13, and was also told not to do this kind of thing in the future.

Despite being warned by the police, Rani chose to continue firing at the "Shiva Army" after returning home on August 25. At a press conference at his home, Rani said Thackeray had used similar offensive language before, such as "The faces of those who attack the 'Shiva Army' should be smashed" and "Hit Yogi Adianas (chief minister of Uttar Pradesh) with slippers."

Rani also claimed that "a minister from Maharashtra played some sort of role in the 'murder' against Disha Salian". Disha Salean, the agent of Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput, jumped to his death in early June 2020, while Susa Singer Rajput himself hanged himself six days later. The reason for the "suicide" of the two people is not yet known.
