Beijing News Express (reporter Chen Lin) On September 4, the service trade fair "Beijing Two Districts Construction and Enterprise Globalization Forum" (CCG 8th China Enterprise Globalization Forum) was held. Chen Jian, former vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce and ccg consultant, said that foreign investment in trade in services is an important part of accelerating the development of trade in services, and we must always adhere to mutual benefit and win-win results. "That is to say, think more about the common good, otherwise it will not be sustainable."

The forum was hosted by the Globalization Think Tank (CCG) and the Beijing Municipal Office of "Two Districts". At the forum, Chen Jian said that many data show that the task of developing trade in services in China is still very heavy, but it also has a fairly broad prospect for development in this field.

At present, according to the statistics of the United Nations Trade and Development Commission, the total global trade in services in 2020 is 9665.03 billion US dollars, and China's total import and export of service trade is 661.717 billion US dollars, accounting for 5.63%. Among them, China's construction service industry accounts for about 18.3%, but other industries such as finance and insurance account for quite low. "At present, we account for about 0.7% of the global financial sector, 6.2% of the insurance industry, 6.6% of telecommunications, computers and information, and 4.7% of other commercial services, which show that our service trade is still quite low in the world." Jian Chen said.

Chen Jian said that the 14th Five-Year Plan clearly points out the development direction of China's next step in trade in services. From the guidelines of the 14th Five-Year Plan, three conclusions can be drawn, that is, the service industry should accelerate its development; the service industry should develop under the conditions of opening up; and the opening up should be a combination of high-quality introduction and going out.

He believes that it should be clearly pointed out that foreign investment in trade in services is an important part of the work to accelerate the development of trade in services, especially the modern service industry.

In view of how to promote this work in an orderly manner, he suggested that we should always adhere to mutual benefit and win-win results, discuss and build and share together, and promote foreign investment in service trade from the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind. "That is to say, think more about the common good, otherwise it will not be sustainable."

It is necessary to formulate effective development plans, use planning ideas to guide enterprises to participate in development, and adhere to the work policy of taking enterprises as the main body and market-oriented.

While orderly liberalizing foreign investment into China's service industry investment, we should actively promote the facilitation of Foreign Investment in China's service trade; investment in the service industry should promote each other and be deeply integrated with industrial investment. In addition, we will earnestly strengthen the capacity building of Chinese-funded enterprises and strive to create a good internal and external development environment.
