Guide
Rabbit hair products have the characteristics of light and soft, comfortable, warm and beautiful, and are welcomed by consumers at home and abroad. Raising long-haired rabbits occupies a small area, has little investment, a wide source of feed and large returns, which is a good way for farmers to get rich.
First, the breed - there are many varieties of long-haired rabbits in the world, of which the angora rabbit is the best production performance of a breed, originating in Angolan Province, Turkey.
There are many strains of the Angolan long-haired rabbit, such as Chinese, British, Japanese, Ashkenazi and so on. Among them, the Ashkenazi weighs more, the adult weight is about 5 kg, the annual gross output is 0.75 ~ 1 kg, and the excellent ones can reach 1.5 kg; the weight of the Middle Angora long-haired rabbit is 2.5 ~ 3.5 kg; the annual gross output is about 0.25 kg, and the excellent ones can reach more than 0.5 kg. The Middle Angora long-haired rabbit has strong adaptability, high reproductive rate, tolerance to rough feeding, strong disease resistance, and good coordination ability with the ashkenazi Angora long-haired rabbit.
Second, the rabbit house - long-haired rabbit likes dry, clean, quiet environment, so the rabbit house should be built in a place with high and dry terrain, quiet environment and good drainage.
Long-haired rabbits are generally caged, breeding rabbits are raised in a single cage, and young rabbits are raised in a cage. The size of the rabbit cage must have a certain specification. Commonly used rabbit cages are generally 60 cm long, 55 cm wide and 45 cm high; breeding rabbit cages should be increased as appropriate. The bottom of the rabbit cage should be more than 30 cm above the ground. The bottom plate of the rabbit cage is best laid with bamboo pieces, which are 2.5 cm wide and straight, and the distance between the two pieces is 1 cm. In this way, the rabbit dung can be dropped without pinching the rabbit's feet. The bottom plate of the cage cannot be nailed to the shelf, but must be moved to facilitate replacement and cleaning. Rabbit cages can be stacked and reared in three dimensions to make full use of space.
Third, breeding - long-haired rabbits are mainly herbivorous, with appropriate mixtures.
The cecum of rabbits is quite developed, about the same length as the rabbit body, and the digestion ability of crude fiber is strong, second only to cattle and sheep. Hair-producing rabbits need about 0.5 kg of green feed and 100 to 150 g of compound feed per day. Long-haired rabbits like to eat a lot of green feed, such as alfalfa, vegetable leaves, various leaves, sathawang, peanut stalks, sweet potato stalks and various wild vegetables, etc., and can be fed to the sun in winter. Long-haired rabbits are fed 3 to 4 times a day, and they should be fed regularly and quantitatively, especially at night to ensure that there is sufficient forage and drinking water. The green feed should be washed and drained from the remaining water, and the green feed should not be fed with mud, rain or sprayed with pesticides. The concentrate should be mixed and fed to prevent overnight acidity. Rabbits can be fed at 16 days of age, mainly supplementary feeding at 30 days of age, and weaned at 40 to 45 days old. Young female rabbits should strengthen their movement, and male and female rabbits should be raised in cages after 4 months of age.
Fourth, breeding - the female rabbit is 6 to 7 months old, weighing 2.5 to 3.5 kg; male rabbits can be bred when they are 9 months old and weigh 3.5 to 4 kg.
The ratio of male and female rabbits is 1:8 to 10. Long-haired rabbit female rabbits often refuse to breed at first mating, but can be forced to mating, grab the rabbit with the left hand, reach in from the left crotch of the rabbit with the right hand, and use two fingers to separate the pubic gate, so that the male rabbit can crawl across the mating. After 8 hours, re-mating in the same way, the female rabbit should be placed in the male rabbit cage during mating. The mother rabbit is pregnant for 30 to 31 days, and after 25 days of pregnancy, the mother rabbit begins to pluck the hair and nest, at this time, the birth box should be put into the nest, and the birth box is filled with soft cushion grass around the box. Give the female rabbit some water after giving birth. Generally, each litter is 5 to 6, more than 8 to 10, and each female rabbit is suitable for breastfeeding 6 to 7.
5. Hair picking - Long-haired rabbits can pick hair after 3 months of birth.
In order to ensure the quality of rabbit hair, it is best to comb the rabbit hair once every 10 days to prevent entanglement, and the hair picking methods are plucked and sheared. Young rabbits are generally sheared, adult rabbits are plucked, winter and summer are plucked, and spring and autumn are sheared. Plucking can be plucked once a month, pulling long and leaving short, and plucking lightly in a small handful when pulling. Shearing is generally cut once every 70 to 90 days, and the shearing should first cut the back, then cut the abdomen, and cut in the direction of the hair. It must be graded sheared or plucked, graded packaging, graded storage to improve the sales level.
The hairs are dense and shiny
From the perspective of rabbit nutritional needs, rabbit nutrition researchers have developed high-tech products with dual effects of growth and treatment in view of the phenomenon of sparse rabbit hair density, poor light quality, hair removal and serious hair bite in general rabbit farms.
1. This product has no species specificity and is suitable for rabbits, cattle, foxes, raccoons and other fur animals;
2. Quickly increase rabbit hair density and brightness;
3. There is a special effect on the prevention and control of rabbit hair removal and hair bite.
