Recently, it is reported that Sony and Netflix are working together to create a new movie version of "Madame Chatterley's Lover". In the producers' plans, the new film will be starring Emma Colin and Jack O'Connell.

This will be the first cooperation between Netflix and Sony's 3000 Pictures. First published in 1928, Madame Chatelet's Lover takes place after the end of World War I. Cliff returns to the manor, paralyzed by war wounds, and snubbs his wife Connie. In the forest, she meets Meles, the caretaker of the forest hired by the manor, and re-experiences the taste of love.
