This drama shows that in the low tide period after the defeat of the Great Revolution, Li Yichen, Yan Shushen, and other revolutionary martyrs, under the leadership of higher-level party organizations, persisted in mobilizing the broad masses of peasant salt people in the Corner Bay and even in the entire Punan region at that time, resisting rents and taxes, and launching a huge "New Street Riot." The red history of heroic resistance and singing and weeping that took place in this hot land was reproduced to the general public.
