Qingdao Daily/Guanhai News, June 27 "After ecological management, a healthy trail has been added to the riverside of Li Village to facilitate the surrounding citizens to walk and walk their babies." Recently, Ms. Zhou, a citizen who lives in the north district of the city, told reporters that the Licun River and Zhangcun River treatment projects have brought many surprises to residents.
Since 2009, the middle and upper reaches of the Licun River have been treated, but the lower reaches of the Licun River and the Zhangcun River still have problems such as impassable coastal roads, incomplete diversion of rain and sewage, and insufficient sewage treatment capacity. In addition, the sedimented silt raises the riverbed, leading to flood control hazards during the rainy season.
With the advancement of the two rivers treatment project in Shibei District, the south bank of Zhangcun River Heilongjiang Road to Chongqing Road and the south bank of Chongqing Road to Zhoukou Road of Licun River took the lead in showing the improvement results. The total length of the two rivers control project in Shibei District is about 6.8 kilometers, of which the Zhangcun River is about 2.6 kilometers long from Heilongjiang Road to Chongqing, and the Licun River is about 4.2 kilometers long from Chongqing Road to Huanwan. The project is planned as a waterfront oasis section, a wetland conservation section, and an ecological blue bay section, and is carried out from three aspects: governance base, ecological restoration, and functional improvement.
Recently, the reporter came to the east of Shangqiu Road to visit the section of the Li Cun River, where plastic runways and bicycle paths were laid next to the riverside, and a number of leisure seats were added, so that the public could better enjoy the green ecological public space.
