When you get a PCB board, the most intuitive way to see the color of the oil on the board is the color of the PCB board we generally refer to, and the common colors are green, blue, red and black, etc.
1. Green ink is by far the most widely used, the longest history, and it is also the cheapest in the current market, so green is used by a large number of manufacturers as the main color of their products.
2. Normally, the whole PCB board product in the production process is to go through the process of board making and SMT and other processes, in the board making, there are so many processes must go through the yellow light room, because the effect of green in the yellow light room is better than other colors, but this is not the main reason.
When soldering components in SMT, the PCB has to go through the processes of solder paste and patch and final AOI calibration, which require optical positioning calibration, and the green background color has a better recognition effect on the instrument.
3. Common PCB colors are red, yellow, green, blue, and black. However, at present, due to problems such as production technology, the quality inspection process of many lines still has to rely on the naked eye observation and identification of workers (of course, most of the flying probe testing technology is used at present). In the case of strong light, the eyes keep staring at the board, which is a very tiring work process, relatively speaking, green is the least hurtful to the eyes, so most manufacturers on the market use green PCB.
4. The principle of blue and black is that it is doped with elements such as cobalt and carbon respectively, which has certain conductivity, and is likely to have the problem of short circuit in the case of electricity, and the green PCB is relatively environmentally friendly, and generally does not release toxic gases when used in a high-temperature environment.
There are also a small number of manufacturers in the market who will use black PCB boards, and the main reasons for this are that there are two reasons:
- It looks a little more high-end;
- The black board is not easy to see the wiring, which brings a certain degree of difficulty to the copying board;

5. Since the middle and late stages of the last century, the industry has begun to pay attention to the color of the PCB board, mainly because the high-end board types of many first-line manufacturers have adopted the green PCB board color design, so people slowly think that the PCB color is green must be high-end.
