Walking in a distant village, in search of China's last mountain village, this is the ninth illustration of a professional walk on the Nu River in Yunnan Province four years ago.
<h1>"Sunflower Book" </h1>
At 9:19 a.m., after watching the sunrise that was not wonderful in Luoxiagou, we ate breakfast, left the room, and took the "Sunflower Treasure Book" given by the hostess and began the journey to explore the Dongchuan Red Land Scenic Area.
To be honest, the red soil is not as wonderful as we think, and it is not as beautiful as in the photographer's photo, which is a barren, barren, seriously overdeveloped, serious soil erosion of the mountain, no wonder there are often earthquakes and mudslides.
The red land is about 250 kilometers from downtown Kunming, and when we visited four years ago, it was the only district in Kunming that did not have a highway. It was not until two years later, in 2019, that the Gongdong Expressway was completed, and the history of no expressway was ended here.
The main attractions of the red land, most of which are located between 1800-2600 meters above sea level, are far away from the mountains and inconvenient transportation, and are relatively unpopular in Yunnan, especially in winter, there are not many tourists.
<h1>"Thousand Year Old Dragon Tree" </h1>
After coming out of the hotel, we passed Huagou Village along the Xinyang Highway, and made our first stop at Matanggou at 9:29.
This is one of the core scenic spots of the red land, only to see a large area of land on the side of the road, which began to show different colors, and the road gradually began to spread out on the top of the mountain, and the view was quite open.
In the scenic route map given by the hostess, there should be a "thousand-year-old dragon tree attraction" and "Doi tree attraction" nearby, but we have not found it.
In fact, the so-called "thousand-year-old dragon tree" is a thousand-year-old fir. It is said that it once withered for three years and vomited new branches, so it was revered as a sacred tree by the local people.
It doesn't matter if the trees look at it or not, in the Qinling Mountains that I have been searching for all year round, there are more thousand-year-old trees than this one, and there is no shortage of this one. However, this was the first time I had seen someone passing by in a carriage on the sandy road.
On the other side of the mountain pass in the distance, it is said that it is the Red Land Yi Culture Showroom, which is so new, it is estimated that there is no meaning, and neither friend L nor I plan to see it.
<h1>"Tired of living" </h1>
The red land of Dongchuan is said to be the best view near Fairview Park. At 9:50, we made our second stop at the Fairview Garden attraction near Flower Stone.
Because of its higher position, the field of vision is more open, and in addition to the land in the shape of a strip, you can even see mountains in the distance and white clouds floating on the top of the mountain.
There is a saying that has been circulating on the Internet for a long time, travel is from the place where you are tired of living, running to the place where others are tired of living to see the strange. This sentence is both right and wrong, and if you are not tired of living, you will not think of starting, but if you are really tired of living, you may not have the heart to travel far.
While everyone was looking at the distant mountains and the white clouds, I began to appreciate the group of tourists who came after us.
From the tourist bus down 12 tourists, from them to get off, shoot, leave, action standards, in one go, the whole process to enjoy down, more interesting than the scenery, this is the so-called "live tired" people's way of travel!
In addition to the red soil, wind turbines can also be seen in Dongchuan. Under the blue sky, the huge white wind turbine at the top of the mountain, together with the red earth, constitutes a unique and charming picture.
<h1>painter </h1>
Dongchuan red land actually has no fixed scenic spots, in this area of about a hundred miles, there are scenic spots everywhere, as long as the conditions permit, you can park and enjoy, the scenery is no different. At 10:12, we made our third stop near Dengjiagou.
A painter who came to the Red Land to collect wind has already set up an easel, ready to freeze this beauty. A brief conversation revealed that he painted an oil painting that took almost 3-4 hours to complete.
In the process of our conversation, oil painting boxes, oil paints, paintbrushes, painting knives, canvases, toner oils, art turpentine, varnish and other utensils were arranged in turn, and the paint of oil paintings and the colors of the red earth were intertwined.
At this moment, another carriage carrying farm manure passed by us, and compared with the unusable scenery, I felt that this was the truest state of the red earth.
<h1>"Photographic 2 yuan" </h1>
When we visited four years ago, there were not many tourists in the red land. Why? Because winter is not the best time for Red Land tours to take photos.
The most suitable season for photography in red soil is May-June and September-December every year, the potato blossoms in summer, the wheat is ripe, the red soil is ploughed in the autumn, and the land is covered with green barley or wheat, and the colors are rich.
Because the timing is not right, the trip to find the red land is actually boring.
The fourth time we stopped in the red land, the car didn't have time to stop the fire, and then it drove away again. Why, because we saw an interesting sign.
The sign reads: "Red Land Observation Deck, parking car 10 yuan, car 5 yuan, photo 2 yuan." Friend L laughed, and so did I. Now spend two dollars to take pictures, a bit can't paddle!
Looking for the red land of Dongchuan, although we are looking for beautiful scenery, we are actually just passing by, and our real destination is actually far away in the Nu River.
