In 2024, if I want to have great growth and breakthroughs in writing, I will develop at least the following 3 good writing habits Xi.
01 Continuous and stable output
In 2023, I will mainly do output on the official account. I sometimes write a long article every two weeks, sometimes one in a week, sometimes one in a day, and the output is very unstable.
When I want to output, I only think about reading and thinking, and when I don't, I don't read and think for days.
The strategy of a master lies in continuity and stability.
Continue to output steadily, this Xi I want to cultivate, at least 2 days to write an article, preferably daily.
In the past two years, I have been wishing I had read more books, but I have not read a few books every year.
Continuous output is a high-quality learning Xi method.
Output every day, which will force me to input every day. When reading books and browsing the official account, record your inspiration and experience at any time, so that you can have a steady stream of content.
At the end of December 2023, I'm doing a writing day shift.
In order to have a good content output, I was forced to take the initiative to take the time to re-listen to Mr. Peter's writing class, and I began to read the book that I had not finished reading before.
As long as you can continue to produce high-quality output stably, you can solve the problem of not reading much books before, and you can also solve the problem of not liking to think.
Day by day, continue to improve your writing steadily, and develop good Xi, you can force yourself to grow rapidly.
02 Fixed writing time
Every year at the beginning of the new year, I usually write down my wish list with a lot of them.
However, at the end of the year, it is often found that many goals have not been completed.
Coincidentally.
During the National Day in 2023, I gave myself the task of polishing 9 writing lessons.
As a result, I was disappointed, and I didn't polish a single class.
Are you wondering, how could this be?
I just gave myself a general schedule, but I didn't set a specific time for myself to do things and do them on time.
During the National Day, I went to my relatives, swiped my mobile phone, said today that I would record tomorrow, and tomorrow I said that the day after tomorrow would record, and I didn't polish it until the end of the holiday.
Faced with tasks, I need to develop a Xi:
Eliminate ambiguity, concretize the time to do things, set an accurate time to do things, and concentrate on doing it.
Instead of writing for 2 hours a day, it is better to write from 19:00 to 21:00 every day, set a specific time for writing, and urge yourself to concentrate on writing, so that you can write better.
When there are no clear enough instructions, it is easy for me to choose pleasure and abandon those options that should be insisted on but are more brain-burning.
In 2024, eliminate ambiguity, set a specific time for writing every day, fix it, and develop a Xi.
03 Build a library of writing materials
When writing an article, do you have such confusion:
I have been thinking and meditating for a long time, but I still don't know what to write;
I want to find a new and unique point of view, but I can't think of it for a while;
I have collected a lot of story cases, but I can't find them when I need them;
It's really not easy to find a suitable golden sentence to make the article brilliant;
I have all of these.
In 2022, I dismantled 300 new media long articles and accumulated 200 classic stories.
But when it came time to actually use a case, it was found that finding one case from 200 cases was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Why is this happening?
I didn't classify the cases when I collected them, I just put them together.
What to do?
The answer is: build a library of writing materials.
Building a library of writing materials can not only improve the efficiency of writing, but also improve the quality of writing.
This is especially helpful for writing, especially daily writing.
How to build a writing library?
At this stage, I need to build 4 material libraries;
Pick a library of topics and solve the problem of what to write.
Opinion material library, recording unique and novel perspectives.
Case material library, record your own stories and celebrity stories in different categories.
A library of golden sentences to record important and potentially useful golden sentences.
In 2024, developing the Xi of building a material library can make writing twice as effective with half the effort.
