Every night of the year, the moon is seen. On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15, Guiyang County held a series of cultural activities to benefit the people by "Watching Intangible Cultural Heritage Chang'e Poetry on the Ancient County Theater", where tourists watched the moon ceremony, listened to pipas, appreciated Kunqu opera, visited temple fairs in the ancient county town, and poems with "Chang'e" to enjoy traditional cultural festivals.
On September 28, on the stage of the ancient county town of Guiyang County Cultural Park, a traditional moon worship ceremony began, and young people dressed in Han costumes cleaned their hands, read blessings, and prayed for the safety of the people of Guotai and the people. Subsequently, traditional programs such as ancient pipa performance, intangible cultural heritage paper cutting, Hanfu dance, dragon dance, Kunqu opera and other traditional programs were staged in turn, with fluttering clothes and melodious ancient rhymes, bringing visitors a visual feast through ancient and modern times.
"Today we are performing traditional intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting and traditional instrumental pipa, and I cut out the characters 'Fu' in different shapes within a pipa through a knife cutting technique. On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival National Day, I wish everyone a reunion and full of blessings! Li Yanqing, the inheritor of Chenzhou municipal intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting, used a pair of skillful hands on stage to present a beautiful "Five Blessings at the Door" in a three-minute pipa music.
"With my Han family clothes, passing on my intangible cultural heritage skills, and promoting my country of etiquette, let more people appreciate the charm of our traditional musical instruments, feel very proud, and wish everyone a family reunion, happiness and health during the Mid-Autumn Festival." Guiyang County cultural volunteer Lei Shujie said.
When night falls, art lovers watch the moon and paint, condensing the beauty of good wishes and traditional culture on the tip of the pen. Under the "Moonlight Market", large and small lantern riddles hang all over the ancient street. Cultural volunteers incarnated as "Chang'e" to play flying flower orders and ancient poems with tourists, and tourists participated in interesting ancient poetry dialogues and answered them, receiving park exchange coupons and redeeming Mid-Autumn Festival souvenirs. Immerse yourself in the temple fair, as if traveling through thousands of years, feel the prosperous fireworks of ancient China, and celebrate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.
"On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, I incarnated as 'Chang'e' and played with passers-by and friends such as flying flower orders, guessing lantern riddles, posting wish slips, and reciting ancient poems. I hope that through such activities, more people can understand the charm of our traditional festivals and carry forward our traditional culture. Guiyang County cultural volunteer Deng Yangfen said.
