Filipino skin itchy again? Recently, they deliberately created incidents in the South China Sea in a vain attempt to re-provoke the "island dispute." In this regard, the mainland was not accustomed to them at all, and the three giant ships thundered and attacked, showing the national prestige of a great power.
This time, the Philippines, which has been playing scoundrels for 24 years, has really done it.
Today, we're going to talk about that.
South China Sea disputes
The contradictions between China and the Philippines in the South China Sea have never ceased. If you want to find a historical starting point for this contradiction, it must be the fifties.
In the fifties of the last century, although the strength of our army was strong, the navy was in the initial stage of development and could not carry out ocean-going cruises. The Kuomintang had boats and people who could barely patrol the islands, but behind them stood an American dad. The father's favorite thing to do in daily life is to scavenge profits from many sons. After realizing the importance of the South China Sea to the military, economic and trade aspects, they directly intruded into this sea area and arbitrarily designated Huangyan Dao as a shooting range, seriously infringing on mainland sovereignty.
But at that time, we did not have the strength to recover Huangyan Island, and Chiang Kai-shek did not dare to put one, so this land became the actual control area of the United States.
It was not until the late seventies that mainland geologists set foot on the islands and reefs and planted the Chinese flag and sovereignty symbol on the land.
However, due to the imperfect development of the navy, we still did not have the ability to guard here at that time. And this gives the Philippines an opportunity.
In 1978, with the support of the United States, the Philippines successively annexed many islands and reefs on the mainland. These include Nishigetsu Island, Thitu Island and many more. After annexing these places one after another, their appetite grew, and they even started the idea of the entire Nansha Islands.
In 1980, ignoring mainland sovereignty, the Philippines arbitrarily included large areas of water, including Scarborough Shoal, into its economic activity zone. In 1992, a Philippine official arrogantly claimed that they had maritime jurisdiction over Scarborough Shoal.
By 1997, they had claimed that Scarborough Shoal was their sovereign territory.
In order to defend the so-called territory, they brutally persecuted the Chinese who accidentally trespassed into this sea area. In 1997, a group of Chinese radio amateurs boarded Huangyan Island on a boat for exploration. During this period, the Philippines dispatched warships and aircraft to monitor and intimidate them in all aspects. The behavior is extremely arrogant.
In May of the same year, the Philippines forcibly stopped a Chinese fishing boat in the waters more than 10 kilometers away from Scarborough Shoal, and all 21 fishermen on board were detained.
Such an act has made the people on the mainland extremely indignant. Some coastal fishermen say that we have lived here for generations and have always fished in this sea to feed our families. Now, the Philippines draws a circle on the map and does not let us go fishing.
Yes, the Philippines has invaded the mainland islands and reefs for no reason and driven away our fishermen, and they do not take care of it at all. But in this international world, which is bigger than anyone's fist, the Philippines has the backing of the United States and has never put the word reason in its eyes.
In the following years, they drove mainland fishermen more brazenly, and in one drive, the Philippine side even ignored international law and directly shot the mainland fishing boat with guns, resulting in the death of the captain and a large number of injuries to the crew.
What is even more hateful is that they also parked a patrol ship on Ren'ai Jiao, refused to tow it away, and constantly carried out the garrison occupation in the name of sending supplies to the personnel on board.
Such behavior made every Chinese tearful and sad at the same time, but also raised a trace of doubt. How important is Scarborough Shoal? Why would the Philippines rather offend the mainland and occupy here?
How important is Scarborough Shoal
The Philippines has forcibly occupied Huangyan Dao for many years, even at the expense of China, which is becoming more and more powerful. What exactly is its purpose?
Many people have given different answers to this question. Some believe that the Philippines, as a small island nation, has an irrepressible desire for national territory. But wherever they can get it, they are not willing to give up. Huangyan Dao, on the other hand, is within their military control. That's why they're so crazy.
Others believe that Huangyan Island is rich in materials, and there are many fish resources, mineral oil and gas resources near the island, and these rich treasures are a great fortune even in the eyes of China. In the eyes of the Philippines, it is even more valuable. Therefore, they are unlikely to let go of this treasure easily.
In fact, these statements are not wrong, but compared with another reason, it seems a little understated.
The purpose of the Philippines' invasion of mainland islands and reefs is not only for these things, but more importantly, to cooperate with the global strategy of his American father.
Opening the world map, we can see that Huangyan Dao is located in the southernmost part of the Nansha Islands, close to the edge of the deep sea. It should be connected with Woody Island, Fiery Cross Island, Subi Island and other islands and reefs created by nature a few years ago, forming an extremely solid triangle that firmly controls all the passages in and out of the South China Sea.
Once the mainland takes full control of this area, the good old days of freedom for the United States to come and go in the South China Sea will be over. Relying on the South China Sea, the encirclement plan drawn up against the mainland will also be completely frustrated.
Of course, the United States does not want to see this situation, so they continue to woo other countries in the South China Sea to try to prevent China from taking control of the islands. Among them, there are not only the Philippines, but also Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries.
In order to encourage the younger brothers to be tough with China, the United States has also formed military cooperation with some of these countries. As one of the collaborators, the Philippines only needs to constantly do tricks on Huangyan Island to cooperate with Dad's siege tactics, and at the same time obtain massive resources from it.
This kind of good thing, the Philippines never dreamed of, now that it is sent to the door, of course, they will not refuse.
Over the years, they have become more and more aggressive in their actions against China. Since the beginning of the last century, until 2012, the Philippines has been persecuting mainland fishermen in the relevant waters.
But China's development over the years is not a joke. In 2012, the Philippines again launched a siege of several mainland fishing boats in an attempt to tow away its fellow mainlanders. At the moment of the attack, the Chinese maritime surveillance ship arrived in time, rescued its compatriots, and confronted the Philippine ship on the spot.
Subsequently, the mainland launched a solemn condemnation of the Philippines internationally, emphasizing our sovereignty over the Scarborough Shoal area. This action by the mainland directly frightened the Philippines. For a long time, they thought that with the support of American fathers, the mainland did not dare to do anything to them. Unexpectedly, this time we actually came for real.
The Philippines, which has not turned a corner for a while, is still fantasizing about driving us away and monopolizing the islands and reefs. Unexpectedly, the mainland was not used to them at all. After repelling them with water cannons, we landed directly on the island to block the entrance to the lagoon of Huangyan Dao, and built facilities on the island to prepare for a protracted war with the Philippines.
Thunder strikes
Since the loss in 2012, the Philippines has been unable to swallow this breath and secretly wants to retake the islands.
Seeing this, the United States also secretly supported it behind it. In the end, the two countries colluded and came up with a ridiculous "South China Sea arbitration case" in 2016, in a vain attempt to seize our inherent territory at the negotiating table.
But as the saying goes, what cannot be taken down on the battlefield, do not expect to be able to negotiate at the negotiating table.
Whether from a military or legal point of view, the mainland is far stronger than the Philippines. Even the American dad behind him, we are completely worthy. At that time, in order to support the younger brother, the American fleet swaggered two naval fleets in a vain attempt to scare us. Unexpectedly, the mainland immediately pulled out the main forces of the three major fleets and put on a posture of a decisive battle. At this moment, the United States was dumbfounded. They never expected that the mainland would really dare to confront them head-on.
What they didn't expect was that before their fleet had lined up and lined up, we had already discovered the location of the aircraft carrier. When the specific coordinates were revealed by us, the American fleet immediately ran away and left the Philippines hanging.
The actions of the United States directly made the Philippines stupid. Without Dad's support, their so-called arbitration directly became a joke. The joke was followed by severe sanctions from the mainland.
After experiencing the rejection of agricultural and sideline products and the fact that they could only rot in large quantities in the ground, the Philippines finally behaved for a few years.
But recently, they have started jumping in the South China Sea again.
In recent years, the United States' control over Asia has become weaker and weaker, which has made the Biden administration anxious. In order to regain their rights and interests in the South China Sea, they once again approached the Philippines and instigated them to come forward and do something.
The Philippines also remembers to eat or not to beat, and after such a sanction, it is even willing to listen to the United States.
Recently, in the name of delivering supplies to ships, they vainly tried to land on Second Thomas Reef again. In this regard, the mainland is not used to it at all. Didn't the Philippines say that it was weak enough to drag the ships parked on it? Well, we in China have this ability!
Under the order of the relevant departments, the large tugboat No. 19016 immediately dispatched and rushed straight to Ren'ai Jiao, directly blocking the Philippines' attempt to land on the island.
In the face of the giant Mac of the mainland, the Philippines does not dare to fight, bumps and can't bump, and can only wait for instructions from the American father.
Although the mainland has not clearly stated whether it wants to throw out the stranded ships on Ren'ai Reef, the sortie of this giant Mac is enough to show the mainland's attitude. That is, as long as the Philippines dares to come, we dare to fight.
Some time later, I don't know what medicine the United States gave to the Philippines, but they actually jumped in the international community and raised a series of protests against the mainland. In the face of their anger, the mainland smiled slightly, and then sent the No. 173 and No. 09 giant ships. These two ships, on the sea, belong to the "pipe collision and no fishing" giant, especially the No. 09 giant ship, the displacement is as high as 10,000 tons, not to mention those small broken ships in the Philippines, even if they encounter American ships, they do not fall behind.
These three giant ships thundered and attacked, not only adding sovereign buoys near Ren'ai Jiao, but also forming a huge military deterrent to the Philippines.
Judging from the scale of the operation, this time, the mainland is really determined to completely solve the Ren'ai Jiao issue. The broken ship of the Philippines has been on our islands and reefs for 24 years, and it is time to calculate this account.
If we look at the next few years, or even more than a decade, we can see that the United States will not withdraw from the South China Sea so easily, and small countries near the South China Sea will not willingly return the invaded islands.
But as the Continental Army grows stronger, the South China Sea will one day return to our hands completely.
