Say the final version, Chevrolet will regret it again? In a tribute to the Camaro ZL1 race car that competed in the NASCAR race at the 24h Le Mans, Chevrolet has unveiled the 2024 Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Special Edition, limited to 56 units.
Before introducing the car, let's first popularize what "Garage 56" is. For vehicles that do not meet WEC regulations, teams can participate in the name of "technological innovation", and the near-unlimited requirements naturally attract many cars that seem to be incompatible with Le Mans, the most typical of which is the Nissan Delta Wing.
The Camaro ZL1 car brought by Chevrolet this time will participate in the race as an "innovative group", mainly because the car is equipped with the hybrid system that NASCAR will introduce in the 2024 season. But don't worry, the production commemorative version is still the original 6.2L machine enlarged V8, which can output 650 horsepower and 880Nm, and comes standard with Goodyear Eagle F1 supercar tires to provide grip.
The commemorative edition pays homage to racing cars in terms of visual elements, with white, gold, gray-black elements and a combination of torrent blue paint. The front fenders bear the "Garage 56" metal badge and the C-pillar bears the white lettering of Hendrik Racing. The black surrounds are also very aggressive, of course, the most prominent is the Nazca 75th anniversary logo on the front cover. Owners can also choose from three graphic packs: front windshield Nasco decal/front wheel arch Goodyear sticker/door 24 decal, and the interior also embeds Garage 56 logo elements on the feet and steering wheel.
