Recently, Vietnamese car company VinFast launched the latest entry-level pure electric model VF3, which is specially built for the Vietnamese market. According to the official definition, the car is a "mini car" with a length of 3114mm, equipped with 16-inch wheels, and ground clearance is also enough for light off-road needs.
From the overall styling point of view, the whole car seems to be a mixture of Jimny and Hongguang MINIEV design elements, but also adds a lot of original design language. For example, in the one-piece black trim on the front and rear, chrome strips extend to the sides with the V-logo; Independent front and rear bars integrated with black fenders; Boxy exterior mirrors, a straight roof with a floating design, and more.
Judging from the interior pictures, the VinFast VF3's wrap-around cockpit is quite futuristic, and the overall raised instrument panel retains only one LCD instrument panel to display the thumbnail map, vehicle speed and vehicle settings. The flat-bottomed double-spoke steering wheel integrates knobs and touch buttons, and the center console also retains the physical buttons and knobs for air conditioning control. The all-through floor has a very open space freedom, but may be a two-seat layout.
VinFast has not yet announced the specific performance parameters of the car, but said it "meets the daily travel needs of most Vietnamese drivers", considering the size and land area of Vietnam, it is estimated that it is two or three hundred kilometers of cruising range. In addition, VF3 also launched two models, Eco and Plus, and will "attract the public at an affordable price", indicating that there may be surprises in pricing. It is reported that the new car will start pre-sale in September and start delivery in the third quarter of next year.
