After the battle, the commander of the 201st Regiment ordered the team to start cleaning the battlefield, which did not matter, and actually found a dozen Japanese soldiers hiding in a hut.
At that time, the battle was extremely difficult, basically every soldier had relatives and friends who lost their lives, these fighters, including the local guerrillas, hated the Japanese army, but as long as there was no order, our soldiers would not shoot without permission.
But the local army in Burma did not pay much attention to humanitarianism, and when escorting these Japanese soldiers back to the prisoner of war camp, the local guerrillas suddenly opened fire, and more than a dozen captured Japanese soldiers died on the spot, leaving only a female nurse in the military hospital.
The nurse who narrowly escaped was named Shizuko Omiya and her sudden change made her tremble with fright, and her already nervous face instantly became miserable.
The officers and men of the expeditionary force immediately began to alert when they heard the gunshots, and when they saw that it was the Burmese guerrillas who were shooting, they immediately stepped forward to stop their actions, and a Chinese officer also stood in front of Shizuko Omiya at this time, protecting the only survivor of these captives, this officer is the hero of this article, Liu Yunda.

Lifesaver
As early as when the Anti-Japanese War broke out, Liu Yunda saw the atrocities of the Japanese army with his own eyes, so he resolutely participated in the war of entry into Burma with hatred for the Japanese. For a long time, Liu Yunda always believed that all Japanese invaders were not good people, which also made him extremely brave every time he fought with the Japanese army, but when he saw this Japanese female prisoner of war this time, he had a different view in his heart.

After the two returned to their hometown, Liu Yunda gave Jingzi a Chinese name, and since then Mo Yuanhui has become her title in China, and then Liu Yunda also specially found a relationship, so that Jingzi also joined the Chinese nationality, and became a Chinese in the true sense.
Because Shizuko has always been ashamed of her participation in the Japanese invasion war, she has been trying her best to learn Chinese and live in seclusion in the countryside with her husband Liu Yunda. Although the life of the two when they first returned home was particularly difficult, with their joint efforts, the day was getting better and better.
After decades of ordinary life, the two gave birth to several children, and the life was the envy of many people in the village. But the good times did not last long, the pressure of the children was great, Liu Yunda had to do several jobs alone to subsidize the family, just when he went up the mountain to pull stones, the eldest son Liu Chongfu was smashed to death on the mountain road by mountain rocks.
This blow made the two not recover for a long time, but soon Liu Yunda was also in the process of transporting stones, and his leg was seriously injured by the sliding stone, and even if the injury was better, he could no longer do heavy work. In order to live, Shizuko took up the burden of the family alone, just like Liu Yunda did to her in Myanmar, and Shizuko used that kind of unforgiving love on Liu Yunda.

Life transformation
The two lived a hard but sweet life in the countryside with their children, but far away in Japan, Shizuko's parents never gave up looking for their daughter, and the last news they got about their daughter was through inquiries with soldiers who returned to Japan during the war, and Shizuko appeared in the barracks of Layingong in Burma, but never knew again.
In the decades after the war, Shizuko's father, Yoshio Omiya not only ran many businesses in Japan, but was also the president of the China-Japan Friendship Association. In August 1977, Yoshio Omiya led members of the association to visit China, and after meeting with Mr. Liao Chengzhi, an adviser to the mainland Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he pleaded with the Chinese government to help him find his daughter.
Liao Chengzhi agreed to his request on the spot, and after many inquiries, the staff of the relevant departments found Qiao Minggu, the then head of the regiment, and learned Liu Yunda's residence with his help.
In 1978, Shizuko, who was farming at home, was suddenly hugged, she was frightened and quickly shouted for help, but she also saw the face of the person holding her in the struggle, and at this glance, Shizuko recognized her father, who she had not seen for decades, and couldn't help but hug and cry.
A father and daughter who have been separated for 33 years seem to have endless words, and when Yoshio Omiya said that her mother had died, Shizuko threw herself into her father's arms again and cried. At this time, Shizuko wanted to hurry back to Japan to worship her mother, but on the one hand, her husband and children, and on the other hand, her mother died, which temporarily put Shizuko in a dilemma.
After Liu Yunda learned this, he kept patting Shizuko's back and encouraged her to go to Japan first, and when she settled in Japan, he would take the child to Japan to find her.
