Anse Cocos is a beach not far from the Grand Anse with a completely different view that is quite unusual for the Seychelles: a complex of abandoned buildings. They have survived since the tourism industry was underdeveloped, and the main export of the archipelago is copra. Coupled with bright turquoise-colored water and gorgeous vegetation, this abandoned village does look extraordinary.
The second largest island in the archipelago is Praslin, with an area of 38.5 square kilometers. The beaches of this island compete with each other to be the most beautiful. Among them, a popular beach, Anse Georgette, and the small island of Saint-Pierre belonging to the waters of Praslin. Landscapes photographed in this particular place are used more often than elsewhere in advertisements for Seychelles entertainment.
One of the most popular beaches (and certainly one of the most beautiful!) It's the Cote d'Or. Not far from it there is a mango hut. It gets its name because of its location: it is nestled in a mango grove with fantastic views of the sea and the beauty of tropical trees.
North of Praslin, there is a granite islet Curius. Here one can rest on the beach, dive, but first of all, the island is famous for its natural beauty. Curius is home to about 500 giant tortoises and is also where hawksbill turtles emerge. This animal places its nests in the sand and returns to the sea. After two months, the baby turtles hatch and crawl into the sea. Therefore, Anse Papaie Beach is one of the unique places where you can witness this miracle of life.
In addition, the waters and land of the island of Curius are habitats for rare fauna, so the entire island is a nature reserve.
