Douban 9.0, god-level word-of-mouth ignites the whole network, "Spider-Man: Across the Universe" is the most complete Easter egg!

In June, the mainland theaters introduced a film army, gathering the new works of the "Transformers" series, the high-reputation superhero blockbuster "The Flash", Pixar's new work "Crazy Elemental City", and "Indiana Jones 5"... It can be called a fairy fight.

On the first weekend, a highly anticipated new super-British animated film made a stunning appearance, igniting the whole network with a god-level reputation of 9.0 on the first day of Douban, and also marking the first flashpoint of the blockbuster month in June.

It is "Spider-Man: Across the Universe".

Parallel universes, from vertical to transcendent

After the previous game "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" won a global box office of $380 million and an Oscar for "Best Animated Feature Film", the sequel was postponed twice and finally met Spider-Man fans around the world four and a half years later.

Spider crisscrossing, Easter egg involution era

At the end of the previous year, Sony took advantage of the last opportunity to co-produce Spider-Man with Marvel and played a big game in "Spider-Man: Homeless": not only recycled the classic villains of the previous series such as Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, and Electric Light Man, but also realized the same frame of Toby, Garfield, and the Dutch brother.

While the film has earned more than $1.9 billion at the global box office, the audience has also begun to look forward to what kind of work Sony can do in terms of feelings and Easter eggs, so that "Across the Universe" can still maintain its focus under the bombshell of the same frame.

Since the feelings of the live-action version of the three spiders are indisputable, then win by quantity - according to the director revealed in an interview, there will be about 280 Spider-Men from different universes in "Across the Universe", many of which are quite familiar versions.

First of all, Sony, who tasted the sweetness of "Homeless", naturally will not miss the opportunity to let the three live-action Spider-Man "appear" in this film.

So, in the memory clips of Spider-Man from different universes at Spider-Headquarters, we saw the scene in "Spider-Man", where Toby's Peter witnessed Uncle Ben being shot;

While testing his ability to travel through the multiverse, the villain "Spot" once travels to a live-action scene where he has a brief conversation with a middle-aged Asian woman. Later, Blob crosses back to a construction site-like place, and careful fans will find that the construction site scene in the animation is actually from the opening credits of Spider-Man's first "Spider-Man: Homecoming" of Dutch brother Spider-Man, the area where "Vulture" Adrian Toombs worked, when it was the ruins of the New York War in "Avengers" that were cleaned up.

The ambiguity and trust between him and Gwen, the trade-off mentor-apprentice relationship with Peter, and the dilemma of talking to his parents are also depictions deeply rooted in everyday experience—depictions that give us a deep foundation for empathizing with the Spider-Man story and the shocking feeling of seeing the story reverse.

After the previous game has already established a fairly deep impression, few direct sequels can surpass themselves and make new breakthroughs in all aspects such as pattern and depth.
