Among the famous mountains in China that have been visited, Mount Tai rises up in the North China Plain, imposing and dull, and has the highest historical status, the five mountains are exclusive, the Yellow Mountain returns without looking at the mountain, and the stone, pine, cloud, spring, and snow are known as the five unique. Emei Mountain has beautiful scenery, the altitude of Wanfo Peak reaches 3099.5 meters, Qingyin Pavilion is beautiful, the sea of clouds on the top of the mountain, the sunrise, and the Buddha light is spectacular. The scenery of Wudang Mountain is slightly inferior, but the cultural landscape is rich and colorful. Qingcheng Mountain is evergreen all year round, and the winding paths are secluded. But when it comes to precipitousness, Mount Hua is obviously unparalleled, and it is not a certain section of danger, but the precipitousness of the entire mountain.
The north peak of Mount Hua is the key to climbing the other four peaks, although the height is not as high as the other peaks, but the mountain is very precipitous, with three cliffs, and only one mountain leading to the south. It was from here that the PLA climbed from when it outwitted Mount Hua.
The chess pavilion is located on the east peak, a pavilion on a steep rock surrounded by mountains. According to legend, Zhao Kuangyin played chess with Chen Tuo Laozu here and lost Huashan, and to get here, he had to pass through Huashan's second danger, and the harrier turned over.

Chen Weihao Fu Shaozi, a native of Tongnan Chongqing, was a famous Taoist priest of the Song Dynasty. Famous for its Sleeping Immortals, all statues are built with the most classic features of Chen Lu.
Historically, tourists who climb Mount Hua first stop at Yuquan Temple and then set out to climb the mountain. Gyosen-in Temple is the entrance to hiking, and night climbing starts from here. This is the holy place of the Quanzhen School of Taoism, built for Chen Tuo's apprentices for Chen Tuo. During the Republic of China, General Feng Yuxiang stationed troops here, and there were many inscriptions by Feng Yuxiang in it, and he had a strong sense of the times.

Gyosen-in Temple is the starting point of mountain climbing, and now the mood is all on the mountain, so we started climbing without making too many stops.
Behind the Yuquan Temple is the road up the mountain, and through the railway bridge cave of the Longhai Railway, you can see the archway of the mountain gate from a distance.
There are not many people who climb the mountain during the day, and many people go directly to the North Peak or West Peak by ropeway. When we climbed the mountain, we were still discussing, maybe the top of the mountain was also deserted, who knows if we found it on the north peak or there were people everywhere.
The uncle carrying the water sang "Don't ask where you came from, your homeland is far away" and walked slowly along the rugged mountain road. Huashan There are places to sell water all the way, expensive is expensive, but it is not easy for others to pick up the truth, and you climb too much mountain and water belt climbing too tired.
Wuli Pass is known as the first pass of Huashan, but I can't see that danger is coming, but I can know that this is five miles away from the starting place. Compared to the mountain road behind, this is the warm-up.

This is a geological fault zone, forming a sinuous fold in the steep rock, like the spine of a reptile.
The mountain road to get here begins to become precipitous, and the road is lined with chains, stop and go, and climb the steps. The higher you go, the more you need to grasp the chain, so climbing gloves are still very useful. Gloves are also sold under the mountain, a pair for a few dollars. But I don't think the trekking poles are necessary, and it will be a burden later.
Finally came to the throat of Taihua - a thousand feet building. More than 300 steps, narrow steps and steep slopes, it is said that there were no chains on both sides of the road in ancient times, and iron chains were not added until the 90s of the last century. Looking up at the mountain, the sky is open, turning your head and looking down, like approaching the abyss.
As we were climbing up in fear, a trail leader wearing cloth shoes had quickly descended from the mountain, without holding up the chains, and soon arrived in front of us, as if walking on the ground, causing everyone to look sideways.
Don't look back at these two sections of the Hundred Foot Gorge, grasp the chains on both sides, have no distractions, and go up first.
When outsmart Huashan, it was here that the Kuomintang troops put an iron lid on it, and if the PLA had not found a path, the casualties of the frontal attack could be imagined.
Overhangs on narrow crevices. It says "Thrilling Stone", and when it is drilled over, it says "Flat Stone". Shocked and flat, adjust the mentality, the next stop Lao Jun plough ditch arrived.
The last dangerous road to the North Peak - Laojun Plough Ditch. Walk through this steep slope with more than 500 stone steps; , climbed the north peak at an altitude of more than 1,500 meters. According to legend, there was no road here before, and the road was ploughed by the green ox of Taishang Laojun.
Finally saw the North Peak. The main difference between the ropeway up the mountain and the trail up the mountain is that the trail can feel the dangerous places such as the thousand-foot building, the hundred-foot gorge, and the Laojun plough. It's really worth walking around and feeling it.
The road in the distance is the Cliff of Ear Rub, and from here is the East Peak. Ate something at North Peak, took a short break, and moved on.

Several peaks have Huashan sword carvings, and Jin Yong recognizes the stone carvings of the North Peak. Now I know why Jin Yong's novel chose to discuss the sword in Huashan, during the Song Dynasty, it is estimated that there were very few people who could climb up, automatically blocking most of the crowd watching the excitement, and also avoiding immortal fights and harming mortals.
See Canglong Ridge from afar. The story of Han Yue crying and asking for help happened here. Now another mountaineering road has been dug in Canglongling East Feiyuling, which is much easier to walk. The first Canglong Ridge had no steps or railings, and then gradually widened over the past thousand years, and iron chains on both sides were added. During the Tang Dynasty, it was estimated that whoever left was scared enough. Compared with here, only the crucian carp back of Tiandu Peak in Huangshan is also such steps and cliffs.
The almost 90° upward ladder used to be the only way to the east peak, but now the scenic area has built stairs up and down the ladder, and the ladder can be climbed or not.

Changkong Plank Road Changkong Plank Road is located on the east side of Mount Huashan South Peak, and you need to buy a separate ticket. 30 RMB/person. It's close to 5 o'clock when I climb here. Many people on the climbing road have advised us not to go, the West Peak Ropeway closes at 19 o'clock, the queue time of the long empty plank road is too long, it may be too late, but Pu Daxia has regretted that he has not walked the ape road last time in Jianmen Pass, this time he must take the long empty plank road no matter what, so he must take the lead, must go.

It may be because of the last time someone jumped off the cliff, the safety ropes are now all replaced with locks that cannot be unfastened, and we do not need to untie them halfway and hang them on another one, but from the screw buckle hit on the cliff, the disadvantage is that they can't come back halfway, they can only follow the same time down This group of people around and then back from the cliff, a few people behind us took pictures all the way, we have been thinking about the cliff waiting for the can't go back, and we've been worried about the ropeway off work.
I've always been afraid of heights, but this time it's okay, walking up is far less intimidating than I thought. The most dangerous part is actually the section where you turn down the mountain, which has no planks, and your feet must be attached to the holes carved out of the cliff to move. It's better when you go to the plank. Just look down at the cliff and still have soft legs.
At the end of the plank road, Ling Hu Chong was punished for thinking over the cliff when he found the relics of the competition between the Five Mountains Sword Sect and the Sun Moon God Sect, and learned the "Dugu Nine Swords" by Feng Qingyang. In fact, this is a place invented by Jin Yong, and there is still a bit of similarity in the novel, thinking of Ling Hu Chong sitting alone on the cliff, listening to the little junior sister singing a mountain song in Hokkien from the Changkong Plank Road, not to mention how sour.
After walking the long empty boardwalk, there was just half an hour left, almost trotting all the way to the west peak, and finally sat on the ropeway. The moon came out when it came down.
