More than 30 sick children live in Islamabad's "China-Pakistan Youth Concentric Circle Home", jointly funded and operated by Chinese and Pakistani non-profit organizations. This loving "small home" has given children in remote areas of Pakistan a temporary home when they seek medical treatment in the capital Islamabad, and has also become an exploration of China's non-governmental public welfare model of "going out", building a new bridge for the "heart connection" between China and Pakistan.
Islamabad's "China-Pakistan Youth Concentric Circle Home" was officially launched on the eve of International Children's Day.
Islamabad is jointly operated by Beijing Concentric Circle Charity Foundation, China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Group and Pakistani Public Welfare Organization "Cascade and Treatment and Rehabilitation Center", and volunteers from the two countries work together to provide life, education and medical services for sick children.
The president of the Pakistani side, Subia Adnan, has been engaged in public welfare activities for many years. She told reporters that she is grateful to Chinese non-profit organizations and caring people for their help to make her vision for many years a reality.
