Zhongxuan Tower, an ancient building located on the wall in the southeast corner of Xiangyang City, has always been a gathering place for literati and scholars. In this historic building, the transmission of knowledge is never interrupted. Recently, I had the privilege of visiting this ancient Zhongxuan Building and deeply felt the importance and value of reading.
Zhongxuanlou has a deep historical origin, dating back to the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. At that time, the poet Wang Yu wrote "Ascending the Tower" in Xiangyang, which laid a deep cultural foundation for Zhongxuanlou. During the Ming Dynasty, Zhou Shaoji, the prefect of Xiangyang, built this building and named it Zhongxuan Tower in honor of this literary giant. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, Zhongxuan Building has gradually lost its former glory on the stage of history.
