Xiongjiang Town, Minqing County
More than ten years ago, three literary and artistic young people fell in love at first sight in Xiongjiang Town, Minqing County. They hit it off without hesitation, and at the end of 2016, they rented more than a dozen old buildings and 200 acres of forest land in the town, and began the transformation of the dream town. In 2017, they renovated two old buildings, one for the original town's fisheries technology station and the other for the original grain station.

Ge Zhen is a female Wen Qing who grew up in the army and was born into a musical family. She has opened a coffee art space, a floral soft decoration collection space, worked as a TV column editor, traveled to the Royal College of Art, traveled to France, Spain, Italy, Vienna... Music and architecture are her poetry and distance.

"When I first started building this homestay, I encountered a lot of difficulties, because the location was relatively remote, so the express we bought could not arrive, and it was quite difficult for every object to get here. At the beginning, we tried to keep the original old house as it looked like and not destroy it, including our café, which also retained the appearance of forty years ago, and opened three large windows, like three paintings given to us by nature. ”

Olive Lake B&B currently has two buildings, 200 meters away from the riverside of the town, namely the Olive Lake Courtyard and the Olive Lake Compound. The Olive Lake compound is a renovation of the town's old grain station, the façade retains the original folding window effect, and the white exterior wall is paired with a vertical log grille, which is simple and not monotonous. The decoration of the small courtyard is even more exquisite, standing on the large terrace overlooking the whole olive lake. In the afternoon, stand by the window, wait for the green train that passes slowly, or look at the lake from the terrace, watch the mountains and greenery, fish on the lake, or immerse yourself in the study, and briefly leave the noise of the outside world.
