These upcoming upgrades, the ACV-15, were successively delivered to the Turkish armed forces by FNSS in the 90s of the last century. After more than 20 years of service, due to various new threats in the modern battlefield and the widespread application of new weapon systems and communication equipment technology, the performance of the ACV-15 can no longer keep up with the times, and it is in urgent need of upgrading. According to the FNSS plan, these armored vehicles will be upgraded to varying degrees in terms of mobility, protection, battlefield survivability, electronic systems, battlefield situational awareness and firepower, allowing them to be extended in service for another 20 years.
