In the Liaoxia River section and Chijiaokou River section of Wangniudun Town, you can often see the figure of the egret, and the birds sometimes fly high and rush into the sky; sometimes hovering at low altitude, frolicking and preying; Sometimes he perches and rests on the shore reef. The white figures of the egrets quickly skim over the sparkling water, streaking through the air, and the graceful arcs attract passers-by to stop and admire.
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the ecological environment of Wangniudun Town, flocks of egrets have gathered here on both sides of the river in the jurisdiction, some of them spreading their wings and flying, some of them looking down to feed, and the picturesque scene adds new scenery to both sides of the river.
Good birds choose trees to live, egrets are known as "monitoring birds of atmospheric and water conditions", and have extremely high requirements for the living environment. Changes in heron populations can be used as a dynamic indicator for regional environmental monitoring. As the ecological environment of Wangniudun Town becomes better and better, the river is clear and the fish are abundant, which is suitable for the survival and reproduction of egrets, so it has also attracted many egrets to set up camp here.
