The newly upgraded 2023 Xiaoxiang 100 6th Hunan Laoshan Cross Country Race, with the theme of "Mountains and Wilderness, Sharing 'Lao' Manga", set up three groups of 55KM, 30KM and 13KM (experience group). The event takes "culture, sports, tourism + events" as the carrier and relies on the good ecological environment of Laoshan to comprehensively show the beauty of the integration of Laoshan Danxia and cross-country sports.
Laoshan Scenic Area, located in Xinning County in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, is a landscape natural scenic area with Danxia and Danxia-karst mixed landforms as the main features. Including Tianyi Alley, Bajiao Village, Chili Peak, Fuyi River, Zixia Pass, Tiansheng Bridge six scenic spots, won the titles of "China's most desirable place", "China's top ten most promising scenic tourism areas" and "China's best eco-cultural tourism destination". In 2023, Laoshan Scenic Area will be included in the "Yangtze River World Heritage Tour" of the national tourism route.
