I never came to Nepal because I was too close, thinking that one day it would come, so I never put it on the agenda. Recently, with the gradual opening of travel, there was finally a chance to take a "revenge" trip, so this time I came to Badgang, Nepal.
British traveler Powell once said in "Lonely Planet":
Even if all of Nepal is gone, as long as there is Badgang, it is worth flying half the world to see it.
Bad Gang is about 14 kilometers from Kathmandu, relatively convenient, compared to the "clutter" of Kathmandu, Bad Gang appears quiet and relaxed, there are not many modern buildings, and there are few vehicles on the road. Shrines, temples, stupas, and wells create an ancient city with a strong medieval atmosphere, and the rustic brick red adds a nostalgic filter to these buildings, as if the small city has stagnated in some fragments of time.
Every day in Badgang is spent walking the streets, looking at the old people and children basking in the sun in front of and behind the house, as if it has a calm and relaxed temperament, or this is another kind of happiness. #我镜头下的城市 #
