Longmen Village, Muchuan County, belongs to the territory of Leshan City, Sichuan Province, and is the hometown of bamboo in China. It belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate, with high mountains and dense forests, streams and rivers, and abundant rainfall.
At an altitude of 3500-4000 meters above sea level at the top of the mountain in this village, due to the special reasons of geology, soil and temperature environment, a stream of natural water after mineral precipitation flows out, without any treatment, the water is completely better than the world's best drinking water indicators, and a variety of mineral elements are beneficial to health. Due to the unique advantages of this area, it is famous for growing a bamboo shoot that is completely different from other bamboo shoots. When the bamboo shoots are ripe every year, the villagers harvest bamboo shoots one by one in the bamboo forest, which is a happy thing, but the terrain is relatively dangerous, coupled with the rainy season, resulting in rugged and muddy forest paths, which brings great danger to villagers' labor and travel, and the slightest mistake will fall, with great safety risks, the villagers are looking forward to one day being able to rebuild the road, but due to lack of funds, it has not been started.
During the 2020 National Day, Mr. Zhou Xinghe, the inventor of the patent who can repair houses and bridges with only one plant fiber product and founder of Galaxy Company, personally took the villagers with an umbrella and used more than 10 machines to start building roads, spending more than 190,000 yuan. Due to the reluctance of some villagers to cut down trees on both sides of the road and the failure to coordinate the problem of self-reserved mountains, the road construction was stranded and forced to stop.
Immediately afterwards, in November 2020, Zhou Xinghe personally sent 310,000 yuan in cash to the village committee of Longmen Village, and in 2022, Zhou Xinghe gave 40,000 yuan for cement and 30,000 yuan for steel, hoping that the village committee would coordinate the work of the villagers and plan to build the first section of the road first, but it has been intermittent and full of resistance.
Just before the Spring Festival in 2023, inventor Zhou Xinghe and assistant Wang Fang saw that the road had been repaired for several years and had not been completed when they returned to their hometown to visit relatives, so they took the initiative to contact the Longmen Village Committee, and with the help of Director Wei Ping of the village committee, they joined hands with the local Hengtong Mining, Huaji Mining and Longmenxi Mining three mines, and after a period of joint discussion, they reached a decision, Mr. Zhou Xinghe donated to purchase cement and equipment, and the three local mine owners donated the necessary sand and gravel to build roads for the villagers. The villagers were very happy when they found out, and under the leadership of Director Wei, they all organized the construction work. So far, Zhou Xinghe and Wang Fang have donated nearly 1 million yuan for the first section of the road.
General bamboo shoots, also known as "cizhu shoots" and "August bamboo shoots", are the young shoots of the grass plant cizhu. Distributed in the southwest of the mainland, Sichuan is widely distributed, and the most produced in southern Sichuan and Leshan areas. Harvested from late August to mid-September, it is one of the seasonal bamboo shoots in summer. Cizhu shoots are white in color, brittle, slightly bitter and fresh; It should be stewed and grilled. However, the bamboo shoots that grow on this mountain are particularly rich in nutritional value due to their unique geographical and water quality advantages.

Halfway up the mountain lives a Zou grandmother, who claimed to be over 100 years old when I met her five years ago, which shows that she is not dazzled, deaf, or white. When chatting with her, I learned that the fundamental reason why she has not been sick for more than 30 years is that she drinks the natural water here every day and likes to eat the bamboo shoots on this mountain every day. When I saw her at her home the day before yesterday, the author asked her again: "You are in your 100s, why don't you have any white hair?" You eat cold meals and cold dishes every day, why aren't you afraid of getting sick? She grinned and said, "I'm so well, why should I get sick?" , as if in her cognition, the problem of illness has no concept for her!
Zou's grandmother then introduced herself: "Since I was 3 years old, I have been hunting bamboo shoots in the mountains with my parents for nearly 100 years, and I have developed a habit, because the family's economic income depends on going up the mountain to collect bamboo shoots and sell them for money. Two years ago, I went up the mountain to shoot bamboo shoots, and on the way home I broke my legs due to a slippery road, but the government treated my legs for free and was able to walk again. Recently, I was really happy to see that this road was about to be built. In the final analysis, the government has trained such good village cadres to do practical things for the people, trained such a good inventor Mr. Zhou Xinghe to donate cement and equipment, and trained such a good entrepreneur and mine owner to donate sand and gravel, otherwise this road will be able to be built in any year! ”。
