Senegalese cherimoya Annona senegalensis

Commonly known as African wild cherimoya, wild cherimoya, cherimoya, cherimoya and doggo cherimoya, is a flowering plant of the cherimoya family. Large shrubs or small trees, rarely exceeding 6 m in height, are found mainly in savannah HS and riparian forests of tropical and southern Africa. It is well suited for growing temperate as well as tropical climates in warm environments, but is very rare.

The ripe fruit has a pleasant pineapple-flavored aroma with hints of apricots. The fruit is about 5 cm in diameter, and the leaves can be eaten as vegetables and flowers as a condiment.
