On the 22nd, Biden issued a statement announcing the suspension of the operation of the US Embassy in Sudan and ordering the US military to withdraw US government staff from Khartoum.
As soon as Biden's words fell, the US military took action, and on the 14th, it was reported that the US diplomats and their families in Sudan had been evacuated on a large scale, and the number of people did not exceed 100. The US Special Operations Force was responsible for the evacuation mission.
From this point of view, the White House does attach great importance to this evacuation mission, which also reflects the complexity and danger of the current situation in Sudan.
However, in stark contrast to the White House's swift withdrawal of diplomats in Sudan, about 16,000 Americans are still stranded in Sudan, and the Biden administration knows that this situation exists, but has not given a plan to evacuate overseas Chinese, which has triggered strong dissatisfaction and protests among the American people.
Especially on the 27th, ABC reported that the White House Security Committee had confirmed that 2 Americans were killed in the conflict in Sudan, and many others were injured and trapped in Khartoum.
On the 28th, US media CNN reported that as the situation in Sudan continues to escalate, Americans are increasingly angry, and they have accused the Biden administration - why can't it take measures like other countries to safely evacuate their own people, but only ensure that dozens of diplomats leave? And bluntly said that Americans in Sudan "have been abandoned by Biden."
In addition, many Republicans also took this opportunity to "shoot" at Biden, saying that after the situation in Sudan changed, all US diplomats withdrew and acted "quickly and cleanly", while the American people in Sudan were completely forgotten, which is a serious dereliction of duty by the Biden administration and a loss of face for the United States.
It has to be said that at a time when the situation in Sudan continues to change, the US government patronizes the evacuation of diplomatic personnel, but "turns a blind eye" to ordinary people in urgent need of help, which is indeed unjustifiable, especially compared with the active evacuation of overseas Chinese in other countries.
And this is even more ironic for the United States, which has always prided itself as "Lao Tzu is the first in the world" and frequently considers itself a "superpower".
Finally, let me make three superficial observations.
First, this time the United States lost face, Biden is also in big trouble, after all, being criticized for "abandoning the people" is not a trivial matter, especially the 2024 presidential election in the United States has begun, Biden also officially announced his election plan last week, which will cause new public grievances and will inevitably aggravate its bad situation.

But then again, the United States did not move to evacuate overseas Chinese, but Britain, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea and other countries moved very quickly, which made the United States very unable to get off the stage.
Perhaps, the large number of Americans in Sudan is one of the factors that make it difficult for the Biden administration to coordinate, but whether it can be or not, or not, are two different things.
Moreover, there has already been a situation where Americans have died in Sudan, and if Biden continues to let it go, the next crisis may be even more severe.
The White House really had to plan ahead.
Third, one thing that makes people worry is whether there are factors behind the chaos in Sudan that the United States or other Western forces are secretly fanning the flames.
Don't forget that just in February this year, Sudan and Russia officially reached an agreement on the lease of the Port Sudan naval base in the Red Sea, which is obviously unacceptable to the United States, and it cannot be ruled out that the United States is secretly stumbling.
Don't forget that in the past few decades, it is no secret that the CIA, which secretly instigates or finances chaos in other countries, and the pervasive CIA fosters pro-American forces in other countries and realizes the priority of US interests.

And this is also one of the reasons why all parties in the world have evacuated overseas Chinese from Sudan, and the United States has not moved on the matter of evacuating overseas Chinese, which is obviously very intriguing.
