The French Bourbon Indicator Hound (Braque du Bourbonnais) is perhaps the oldest instruction hound in France.
It was depicted in French literature around 1500.
Once glorious, but as its name suggests, it declined with the Bourbon family.
It has the pedigree of the French Breton.
It is required to be born tailless or born short tail, and it has a unique color type, like faded lilac.
