Red Star Capital Bureau reported on April 24 that Beijing Sunshine Consumption Big Data Research Institute, Consumer Protection Law Research Center of University of International Business and Economics, and Consumer Network jointly released the "Public Opinion Analysis Report on Rights Protection of Live Streaming Consumption". The report collects public opinion data on consumer rights protection in the past year, and summarizes and analyzes it from two dimensions: live streaming platforms and anchors.
After summarizing and analyzing public opinion data, in 2022, 45.75% of the public opinion information on consumer rights protection of live streaming goods was related to product quality issues, 37.82% were false publicity, 5.19% were uncivilized goods, 5.08% were misleading, 4.46% were delivered, 1.45% were returned and exchanged, 0.14% were sales of prohibited goods, and 0.11% were induced to trade over-the-counter.
Based on the summary and analysis of the above data, the report selects ten live streaming platforms that some consumers use a lot on a daily basis for key analysis. Among them, public opinion related to Douyin accounted for 55.41%, followed by Kuaishou (26.76%) and Taobao (15.67%), followed by Pinduoduo (1.07%), Jingdong (0.54%), Weibo (0.35%), Xiaohongshu (0.13%), Vipshop (0.03%), Mushroom Street (0.02%), Suning.com (0.01%), etc.
In addition, on the basis of the aforementioned data, referring to factors such as sales and network influence during the "618" and "Double 11" periods in 2022, the report also selected 14 anchors such as Crazy Little Yang Ge, Li Jiaqi, Liu Genghong, Luo Yonghao, Simba, Dong Yuhui, Mr. Dong, Sanda Brother, Egg Little Potyou, Yu Dagongzi, Lie'er Baby, and Cat Sister who loves food as key analysis objects.
Among them, the public opinion involving crazy Xiao Yang Ge has the most rights protection, accounting for 29.27%; followed by Li Jiaqi, accounting for 28.49%; Liu Genghong ranked third, accounting for 15.01%.
In addition to these three anchors, the remaining 11 anchors are Luo Yonghao (10%), Simba (8.2%), Dong Yuhui (3.94%), Mr. Dong Jewelry (2.35%), Sanda Brother (1.16%), Eggman Xiaopeng You (0.52%), Yu Dagongzi (0.35%), Big Wolf Dog Zheng Jianpeng Yanzhen and his wife (0.28%), Chen Jie Kiki (0.18%), Lie'er Baby (0.17%) and Cat Sister who loves food (0.09%).
For the rights protection of these top anchors, the problems reflected by public opinion involve six major aspects. Among them, false propaganda has the most problems, accounting for 44.76%; followed by product quality issues, accounting for 43.94%; In addition, price misleading accounted for 7.35%, delivery accounted for 1.59%, return and exchange accounted for 1.23%, and uncivilized goods accounted for 1.13%.
The top five anchors with the most public opinion on rights protection involved different issues, with the false propaganda public opinion of crazy Xiao Yang Ge and Li Jiaqi being relatively more prominent, and the product quality public opinion of Liu Genghong, Luo Yonghao and Simba being more prominent.
