In 2001, Ding Li, who graduated from South China Agricultural University, was selected to work in Panyu District and grew into a leading party and government cadre in Zhenjie. In 2019, Panyu District launched the second round of national east-west cooperation tasks, counterpart to help Bijie City, Guizhou Province, Weining Yi Hui and Miao Autonomous County, Ding Li took the initiative to ask for help. Weining Autonomous County was once a state-level deep poverty county, located in the western plateau of Guizhou Province, with the largest number of poor people in the province. Ding Li has just been appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and deputy county governor, and he has ushered in the most critical moment when the country's poverty alleviation has entered the decisive battle. He seriously invested in the frontline, led the team to carry out project and demand research, and ran through the project sites and unlisted poor villages. Implement Guangzhou's assistance fund of 130 million yuan, focusing on making up for the shortcomings of the county's poverty alleviation. Cooperate with the implementation of the leadership guarantee of the two places, teachers and doctors to help, help complete the industrial cooperation of 712 million yuan of new investment, complete the consumption of poverty alleviation of 430 million, through the transfer of output and local public welfare posts to ensure the employment of 6542 people, paired with 108 villages, 121 schools, 38 hospitals to carry out substantive assistance. During the fight against the epidemic, we have worked hard to win a large number of anti-epidemic resources to support and help solve the problems of unsalable agricultural products, the resumption of work and production of enterprises, and the return of migrant workers to work. At the end of November 2020, Weining Autonomous County finally won the poverty alleviation battle on time and with high quality, removed the hat of millennium poverty, and the team supported by Panyu District won many honors, and he himself was also rated as an advanced individual in poverty alleviation in Guizhou Province.
Ding Li said that under the correct leadership of the party committees and governments of Guangzhou and Bijie cities, we will continue to promote the task of east-west coordination at a new starting point, focus on the goal of "four modernizations" in Guizhou Province, keep the original intention and determination unchanged, put pressure on ourselves, overcome difficulties, and lead the support team and the cadres and masses of the autonomous county to work together to work together toward the goal of rural revitalization.
He said that the biggest harvest from participating in poverty alleviation and cooperation is that they have strengthened the faith of party members, harvested the feelings of home and country, and are a flower that integrates youth into the mountains and rivers of the motherland.
