On July 30, according to the official website of the Organization Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, the central government approved that Comrade Guo Qiang was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee.
Previously, Guo Qiang served as deputy secretary of the Hefei Municipal Party Committee.

According to the official resume, Guo Qiang was born in December 1969 in Bozhou, Anhui Province, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1992, and is a master's student.
He worked in the Anhui Provincial Local Taxation Bureau in the early days, and was admitted to the Law School of Chinese Min University in 1997 with a master's degree in law, and returned to the Provincial Local Taxation Bureau after graduation, successively serving as the chief clerk of the office, the deputy director of the office, and the director of the publicity center.
In 2007, Guo was appointed as the director of the second research division of the Policy Research Office of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, the deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee the following year, and the deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee in 2011.
