With the sound of the start, the participants of the hike dressed in blue walked out of the archway at the beginning of the Jinwan Lovers Road Reading Center with light and cheerful steps, and walked all the way to the sea breeze. The team of thousands of people formed a "blue wave", rushing between the landmarks of the size of Jinwan. On April 2nd, the launching ceremony of the 19th Sports Festival in Jinwan District, Zhuhai and the large-scale hiking activity of "Rushing to the Mountains and Seas, Chasing Dreams of Jinwan" were officially held. Nearly 3,000 citizens from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area signed up to participate in this urban event.
Early in the morning of the event, the golden bay by the sea was still filled with smoke and rain. However, the hazy drizzle did not dampen the enthusiasm of the participants, and at the assembly point located in the Reading Hall, well-equipped athletes from all walks of life were eager to try and ready to go. At the launching ceremony, the passionate fitness project exhibition quickly ignited the scene atmosphere, and programs such as Tai Chi knife, fitness drag dance, martial arts, fitness street dance, male and female duets were staged in turn, showing the strong atmosphere of national fitness and the new fashion of sports in Jinwan District.

According to the person in charge of the activity, this hiking activity carefully designed a hiking route highlighting the characteristics of Jinwan District, passing through the Reading Hall, Civic Art Center, Zhongxinhe Wetland Park, Jinhu Park, Guanyinshan Country Park, Lingyan Cave, Wood Chong Crane Road Flower Sea, Wood Chong Beach and other places, along the way the scenery is beautiful, the air is fresh, participants can enjoy the natural scenery, urban landscape, customs, net red park and other characteristics of Jinwan District during the hike, and fully feel the new style of urban construction in Jinwan District.
Along the way, citizens who participated in the walking activities waved colorful flags, showed smiles, and were full of vitality and passion. When passing by urban architectural landmarks such as the Civic Art Center and Guanyin Mountain Country Park, as well as the ecological landscape belt, many participants could not help but slow down, check in and take photos with their friends, and enjoy the scenery and chat. When fatigue strikes, the professional audio equipment that comes with it sounds their own BGM, and following the dynamic beat of the music, the hikers adjust their pace and set off again.
After several hours of trekking, participants reached the finish line on foot, and everyone received commemorative medals and took photos on the background wall. Mr. Chen from Jinwan District said excitedly: "The scenery is so beautiful! Today's hiking trail is moderately difficult, and there are many beautiful scenery along the way, which is especially suitable for everyone to hike and exercise together. Sports festivals like this allow us to participate in various sports exercises at our doorstep, which is indeed a real benefit for the public. ”
It is understood that the series of activities of the 19th Sports Festival in Jinwan District aims to deeply implement the national strategy of national fitness and the "National Fitness Implementation Plan (2022-2025)", actively carry out mass sports activities, and create a good national fitness atmosphere in the district.
