On March 27, Ecuadorian aid agencies said in a revised report that landslides triggered by heavy rains in Ecuador's Andean region killed at least seven people, injured 23 and left nearly 50 missing. Earlier, the agency reported that a landslide in the municipality of Alausi, in the province of Chimborazo, Ecuador, killed 16 people.
