Common manifestations: low voice, shortness of breath and lazy speech, easy fatigue, lack of energy, easy sweating, light red tongue, tooth marks on the side of the tongue.

Dietary therapy – qi-replenishing food

Medicinal diet: Astragalus and goji chicken soup

Ingredients: 500g of hen or chai chicken, 20g of astragalus, 10g of goji berries, 15g of ginger slices.

Seasoning: 1 tbsp wine, 1/2 tsp ground white pepper, salt to taste.

Method:

(1) The hens are cleaned, washed and drained, and chopped into pieces;

(2) Put the chicken nuggets into the pot and boil the foam;

(3) Fish out chicken nuggets;

(4) Cut the ginger into slices. Rinse astragalus and goji berries and drain;

(5) Put chicken nuggets, ginger slices and astragalus into a casserole pot and pour an appropriate amount of water. Bring to a boil over high heat, turn to low heat, and simmer until the chicken pieces are soft and rotten;

(6) Pour in goji berries and an appropriate amount of salt and turn off the heat. Cover and simmer until the goji berries are large.
