The fashion house of Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo is the only British design firm to join France's Chambre Syndicale, known for the dress of royals and celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé.
Tamara Ralph is the fourth generation in her family to work in fashion and fashion design. After graduating from Whitehouse School of Design in Melbourne, Australia, Ralph moved to London in hopes of breaking into fashion. After a chance meeting with Michael Russo, an Australian banker based in London, the two founded Ralph & Russo in 2006.
The couple's business has been profitable since its inception, filling a gap in the London market, a very wealthy fashion hub but no local fashion suppliers. To maintain the brand's uniqueness, Ralph & Russo only sells one version of each garment in each country.
In 2013, the couple became the only fashion industry representative on Forbes' annual list of the 40 Most Successful People Under 40. That same year, Ralph & Russo became the first British fashion brand to join the French Chamber of Commerce, and in 2014, they were the first British brand to be showcased at Paris Fashion Week.
At the Spring 2017 Haute Couture Show, Ralph & Russo showcased more than 20 looks, the vast majority of which were dresses, each one beautiful and the best choice for celebrities walking the red carpet.
