"10 Years of Rolling Stone", "Rolling Stone Records" celebrated his birthday like this

"10 Years of Rolling Stone" commemorative plate 3 "Rolling 1990"

In 2021, "Rolling Stone Records" launched the brand of "Rolling Stone 40", followed by "Rolling Stone Hit Band 40 Group Fight Classic", and recently launched by Cao Ge to cover 20 Cantonese song classics "I am crazy for song", all of which are produced by the "Rolling Stone 10 Years" commemorative plate 3 "Rolling 1990" brands at the level of recording works.

A Chinese pop music label, in the forty years of this stormy meeting, can avoid the involution of the Chinese-speaking area, can avoid the merger of international labels, and is still shining, and there is a singer like Sun Shengxi who can play, it is really not an easy task. What's more, labels such as "Believe in Music", "Selected Music", "Yashen Music", "True Colors", "Street Sound", which have a certain blood relationship and even humanistic inheritance with "Rolling Stone Records", are still in all latitudes and occupy a very important position in Chinese pop music.

This time, though, go back in time to "10 Years of Rolling Stone" 32 years ago and listen to a compilation of Rock 1990.

The compilation "Rolling 1990" has three songs, but it can also be said that there are forty-nine songs, the former talking about the audio track, the latter talking about the total number of works that appeared, because this is also a compilation of forty-nine songs divided into three string songs.

In the upper left corner of the cover of the record, there is a logo specially designed by "10 Years of Rolling Stone", and the words "Memorial Plate 3" are written in the back. This series, I was most impressed by the red cover of "Continental 1990" (China 1990), so I found the treasure book "Rolling Stone 30", checked the distribution information in the history of "Rolling Stone Records", and found that "Continental 1990" and "Rolling 1990" were actually released on the same day - June 6, 1990, and "Continental 1990" in the "Rolling Stone 10 Years" series, the order is "Commemorative Plate 4".

Then I continued to look for the first two episodes in the release materials of the same year, and soon saw "Joy 1990" released on February 1, 1990, this compilation album is "Memorial Disc 1" of "Rolling Stone 10 Years", and then kept searching, but found that I couldn't find "Memorative Disc 2".

So I next sent a private message to the alternative disc master "Rock Tang Dynasty" in the free shipping area, and he quickly sent me a physical picture, only to learn that the "commemorative plate 2" of "Rolling Stone 10" is called "Love 1990".

The positioning of these four episodes of "commemorative plate", "Sing 1990" is responsible for the selection of Western old songs, "Favorite 1990" is a selection of the performance works of Gao Peihua, Wen Jinlong, Li Taixiang, Chen Shixing and other musicians, and "Rolling 1990" is the "ten years of good songs, gathered together" of "Rolling Stone Records" at that time, and "Mainland 1990" is a collection of the works of ten groups of mainland singers at that time.

The compilation album "Mainland 1990" was later introduced by "Zhejiang Literature and Art Audio and Video", but it was renamed "China Original Decade 1985-1995", and Li Lingyu's "Looking at the Moon and Fearing the Full Moon" replaced the original "Rolling Stone Records" Wang Di's work "Worried Said". This change of song is somewhat contradictory, because the original ten songs are more mixed with "Northwest Wind" and early national shake style works, and even Na Ying's work "Oil Light" is an original work by rock musician Hou Muren.

And the reason why "Favorite 1990" was not found in "Rolling Stone Records" in its own "treasure book", and the reason was determined after seeing the physical photo, is because at that time, this record was not released in the main label system of "Rolling Stone Records", but chose the "Rolling Stone Label" main pure music label "Chung Stone Records" to launch, not only the P&C of the album is "Prime Record Tape Co.", that is, "Chung Stone Records", but also the record number RM-319, which also belongs to "Chung Stone Records" ".

▲ The back cover of "Favorite 1990" shows that this commemorative disc 2 of "10 Years of Rolling Stone" was released by "Chung Seok Records" and is also the RM-319 of "Chung Seok Records"

Although they were both a group system, the office addresses of "Rolling Stone Records" and "Chung Stone Records" at that time were "5F, No. 3, Lane 290, Guangfu South Road, Taipei City", and "No. 2, 3rd Floor, No. 288, Guangfu South Road, Taipei City", which were not in the same unified office, but could only be regarded as neighbors.

In fact, in addition to "Chung Stone Records", there are "Diamond Records", "Giant Stone Records", as well as "Fengyun Music" and later more well-known "Magic Rock Records", from the 80s to the 90s, the matrix of "Rolling Stone Records" is still quite rich, covering pure music, overseas agents, alternative music and other fields.

As for this "Rolling 1990", it takes the form of a joint singing, Wang Zhiping, Zhang Hanqun and Huang Yunling, respectively, are responsible for the arrangement of three parts, and the arrangement is mainly MIDI + Jiang Jianmin's guitar, and now it sounds like the arrangement is also full of plastic flavor with a strong sense of age.

Among the singers, in addition to Li Lin, Li Baoqi, which were the harmony celebrities on the island at that time, there were also behind-the-scenes musicians such as Chen Meiwei, who was also the producer of the entire album.

There are also two real singers in the singing lineup, one is the "child" Luo Xuanwu of the "Red Ant Choir", and the other is Huang Pinyuan, who released his first solo album "The Voice of the Supporting Actor" more than a month before the release of this compilation. It can be said that Huang Pinyuan's voice, in this compilation, is the most recognizable, and many paragraphs can be heard.

But "Rolling 1990" really has no listening value, generally listen to it once you don't want to listen to it, many songs either adopt operatic, strange banter, or deliberately imitate the original song, like imitating Pan Yueyun's "Lock Memory", especially the male voice imitating Qi Yu's "September High Heels", which sounds more terrifying.

In addition, because it is a joint song, each classic is a short segment, so the rate is also very fast, and it sounds like a tape fast forward, so it is even more impossible for people to immerse themselves and enjoy quietly. I think that special offline occasions like fast food restaurants and milk tea shops, if you need a nostalgic atmosphere, using "Rolling 1990" as a BGM is a good solution, and giving "Rolling Stone Records" a sum of money at one time, you can get so many classics, it is really worth it.

The question is, who in the general offline store will be so conscious? Who has such a high level of copyright awareness?

Looking at the forty-nine preferred songs of "Rolling 1990", the works of Luo Dayou, Li Zongsheng and Xiao Worm still account for the majority, and it is indeed the most important "three kings" in the early days of the establishment of "Rolling Stone Records", and in addition, Sister Xiaoling also has many works shortlisted, and others include Ma Zhaojun, Chen Meiwei, Chen Youming...

That year was 1990, we listened to "When I Wake Up", we sang "Do you know I'm waiting for you", we asked "Am I the one you love the most", we thought "Wild Lilies Also Have Spring", our future is extremely beautiful, we have endless songs, endless books, endless movies, we have just crossed the threshold of the nineties, and we will continue to enjoy the wonderful decade of the nineties.

Listen to me, it was really a good time...
