According to the Mirror on March 22, Meghan Markle may "take control of her public image" and make headlines "for legitimate reasons."

A branding expert who has worked with stars such as Britney Spears said Meghan could "thrive" as she revives her lifestyle blog the Tig.

Recent documents suggest that the website that Meghan ran before meeting Prince Harry may soon be back online.

The 41-year-old actress shut down The Tig after she became engaged to her current husband in 2017, and now she has received preliminary official approval to reinstate The Tig.

The revamped blog will offer advice on food, travel, fashion and health, and Meghan may play the role of confidant on the site.

Jordan James, founder of Unlockd PR, said the site would allow Meghan to control her image if it was "carefully thought out and considered."

In an interview with the Daily Express, he said: "If done right, meaning every action is carefully considered, I believe that Meghan Markle's beloved lifestyle, The Tig, not only has the potential to make headlines (for the right reasons), but will thrive again and hopefully help her control her public image in some way."

Jordan also said that in order to create a successful website, Meghan should "start by engaging directly with fans."

He also suggested that she should focus on "creating meaningful and interesting stories" that allow readers to make appropriate connections with the blog.

Meghan has previously spoken of her efforts to control her image during her royal days.

"It's a system where, as a family member, if you want to publish pictures of your children, you first have to hand them over to the Royal Rotating Commission," she said.

Meghan went on to blast the process and question what the point was.

"Why should I give pictures of my children to people who scold my children instead of sharing them with those who love my children?"

The Duchess of Sussex said in an interview with The Cut: "You tell me what's the point, and then I'll play the game."
