Zheng Chenggong was born in 1624, four years after the beginning of the Great Dynasty. At this time, Daming was already at the end of the strong crossbow, and the wind and rain were shaking. 1662 AD, the sixteenth year of the Yongli era of the Southern Ming Dynasty, the first year of the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty. Zheng Chenggong, who had just recovered Taiwan from the Dutch colonists of the sea coachman, died of a violent illness and died young at the age of 39.
After Zheng Chenggong's death, he was buried in Zaiwei, Tainan Prefecture, and in 1699, Zheng Chenggong's grandson Shangxi Emperor Shangxi begged his grandfather to be buried in the ancestral tomb. The Kangxi Emperor granted his request and gave him the title of "four towns and two hearts, two islands, and the masters dared to fight for half of the southeast, and the kings had no defense, and they knew that there were lonely loyalties overseas", and bluntly said that Zheng Chenggong was a loyal minister.
So is Zheng Chenggong loyal to the Qing Dynasty and loyal to Kangxi? The world knows that he devoted his life to reversing the Qing Dynasty and restoring his sight. Is it the Nanming regime? But his name as a loyal courtier came from the canonization of the Qing emperor he opposed. This can only show that Zheng Chenggong's loyalty is loyal to his motherland. He dared to fight for half the wall in the southeast, only in exchange for the evaluation of overseas loyalty. Kangxi's vision also broke through a certain category, so he saw that Zheng Chenggongzhong also broke through a certain category.
The motherland cannot be changed at will, and safeguarding the unity of the motherland is not to be loyal to a certain person or dynasty, just as Zheng Chenggong was remembered by posterity, he will always be loyal to his motherland. Due to historical reasons, Taiwan, which was successfully recovered by Zheng Chenggong, has not yet been unified with the mainland, but in the near future, it will eventually be reunified with the mainland.
