1. Rumors: Nintendo's new console uses NVIDIA's new Tegra chip, forged using Samsung's 5nm process
South Korea's uncle @OreXda tweeted: "The next generation of consoles after Nintendo Switch will use the new NVIDIA Tegra chip, which is forged using Samsung's 5nm 5LPP (5nm Low Power Plus) process.
Previously, there were rumors that Nintendo's new console uses NVIDIA Tegra chips based on the Ampere architecture (30 series), but the Ampere architecture is forged using TSMC's 7nm or Samsung 8nm process.
If OreXda's revelations are true, it proves that Nintendo has moved to 5nm technology, which means that the new NVIDIA Tegra chip specifications are more modern, more energy-efficient, and almost certainly more powerful.
Recently, it was also reported that Nintendo has officially canceled the half-generation upgrade Switch Pro plan, choosing to focus on the real next-generation new console. If this is the case, it makes sense that chips forged using the 5nm process would further improve machine performance.
Nintendo recently said that the Switch has several years of life, so perhaps the new model release window will be set for 2025 or 2026, or even later.
2. Microsoft: 10 years is enough for Sony to develop a competitor comparable to Call of Duty
In response to the statement that "Sony believes the Call of Duty franchise is essential for PlayStation," Microsoft filed a new statement with the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) regarding the acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
Microsoft is willing to bring the new Call of Duty series to PlayStation and Xbox within 10 years, and there will be no difference in content and features.
