Developer Arctic7, founded in February 2022 by former EA veterans Igor Efremov, Mark Rizzo and Alan Van Slyke, has announced that it has acquired Star Fort Games and Narwhal Studios.
Narwhal Studios is a Los Angeles-based virtual art production studio working on film and television projects. Its credits include the DC Comics film adaptation Black Adam and the Star Wars television series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Star Fort Games, on the other hand, was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, which mainly develops mobile games.
Through the acquisition, Arctic7 aims to expand its business operations in games and media production.
