In 2022, the global TV terminal market continued to show a downward trend, with shipments of only 202 million units, a new low in nearly a decade. However, OEM market shipments remained relatively stable, according to a report released by Luotu Technology, the overall shipment volume of the global TV OEM market (including Changhong, Skyworth, Konka, Hisense's four own factories) reached 101 million units last year, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%.

The four major brands' own factories all achieved growth, with Changhong OEM, Skyworth OEM, Konka OEM and Hisense OEM shipping about 9.1 million units, 7 million units, 2.7 million units and 1.3 million units respectively. Since the previous year, Changhong began to add domestic foundries, OEM for Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Realme and other brands, which exceeded one million that year.

MTC, which mainly focuses on overseas markets, fell to fourth place, with annual shipments of approximately 8.5 million units, a sharp decline of nearly 20% y/y. The company, headquartered in Longgang, Shenzhen, owns two independent brands, Fengxing Internet TV and Zhaochi Lighting.
