Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

author:Milion

In the past year, the two East Slavic brothers have fought fiercely, there are prisoners of war on both sides, and both have carried out prisoner abuse operations, the former second brother forced the eldest brother's captives to crawl in the snow, and the eldest brother's "Wagner Regiment" hammered the second brother's female sniper.

Both sides have torture and killing, the eldest brother don't hate the second brother, and the second brother doesn't blame the eldest brother for being ruthless, this is war, it's all one report for another.

But in any case, the execution of prisoners of war is inhumane.

Poland (West Slavs), a distant relative of the East Slavic brothers, had something to say about this, because Stalin treated Polish prisoners of war much more harshly than the East Slavic brothers.

Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

The story begins on April 13, 1943.

At that time, World War II was in full swing, Germany put great pressure on the Soviet Union on the Eastern Front, and after some firefighting, the Germans took the city of Smolensk, and the Soviet army was forced to shrink the defense line.

There is a saying that if you want to be rich, you must first build roads.

This saying also applies on the battlefield, if you want to win, you have to build roads, and in order to get ammunition to the front, the Germans decided to repair the railways and roads near Smolensk.

One of the most important traffic arteries to be repaired is 15 kilometers west of the city of Smolensk, a place called "Katyn", where there is a forest called "Katyn Forest".

However, on this day, in this uninhabited forest, a terrifying, cruel, and strange secret massacre was exposed to the world.

On the morning of the 13th, several laborers were digging the foundation of the Katyn forest, and suddenly several corpses were dug up, but in the years of artillery fire, a few corpses were not a big deal, but the scary thing was that the corpses were dug up more and more.

With the passage of time, a scene that shocked the world was presented to the world:

Deep in the Katyn forest, German laborers dug a deep trench, about 28 meters long and 16 meters wide, in which the bodies were piled up into 12 layers.

The bodies were all dressed in military uniforms, some with their hands tied, and all died by bullets piercing the back of the head.

After some probing and excavation, the Germans found a total of 8 such deep trenches, with a total of 4421 victims.

In the face of this horrific scene, the German troops, who had seen more big scenes, were also shocked into a cold sweat, but the most important thing was to find out where these corpses were.

The Germans quickly came to the conclusion that this was not a Soviet serviceman, but also a German one, but a Polish one.

So the Berlin radio station that night informed the world of this news, which caused a worldwide uproar for a while, triggering the anger of the countries participating in the war.

Who did it?

This is what everyone wants to know the most, and the first reaction of people in the world except the Germans was done by the German Nazis, after all, the Germans who killed people without blinking in the concentration camps were too hateful.

But the problem is that they are the ones who find the graves, they are the ones who dig up the bodies, and they are the ones who inform the world.

If the Germans really did it, why did they kill, bury, dig, and finally send the news to the world herd?

This is the strangest part of this tragedy.

The second strange thing is that all those killed were on the territory of the USSR, but none of them were Soviets, but Poles.

The Poles died on Soviet territory, then it was the USSR who did this!

Whether others believe it or not, the Germans believe it.

So they openly pointed the finger at the Soviet Union, saying that your Soviet Union is really not a human being, how can you do such a thing that hurts nature and reason.

Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

In the face of the "black pot" detained by Germany, the Soviet Union naturally did not accept it, and scolded back, you Germany is not a person, there are fewer people killed in concentration camps, come here cat crying rats fake mercy, it must be you who killed the Poles and buried them in our house, this is naked planting!

For a time, a tearing drama was staged between the Soviet Union and Germany, and who was the real culprit of the "Katyn Forest Massacre" became an unsolved mystery.

However, when the Soviets and Germans were tearing each other apart, the Polish government-in-exile in Britain stood up, claiming that these people must have been members of the "disappearing legion" that the Polish people were searching for, and must have been killed and buried by the ruthless forest.

In the face of the accusations of the Poles, the Soviet Union vigorously denied that the 250,000 Polish prisoners of war that year had long been released, don't spread rumors, we didn't kill people.

So who killed it?

Let's first figure out what this "vanishing legion" is.

Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

The outbreak of World War II was marked by Mustache's Blitzkrieg against Poland, teaming up with his brothers to divide Poland.

On September 1, 1939, Xiao Mouzi sent 886,000 troops to blitz western Poland, while Dalinzi sent 600,000 troops across the Soviet-Polish border to attack eastern Poland.

The two brothers occupied all of Poland in 18 days.

Poland, whose heart is higher than the sky and whose life is thinner than paper, has fallen again 21 years after its restoration.

After Poland was occupied, government personnel fled to seek refuge in Britain, and western Poland became German-occupied, and the four-word description is wailing.

As for the Soviet-occupied areas in the east, the Soviets told them to lay down their arms and surrender to spare their lives, so the Soviets captured 250,000 Polish prisoners.

Since then, the Soviets have locked up the 250,000 men in newly built prisoner-of-war camps.

Three of them, Starobelisk, Kozelsk and Ostashkov, held about 15,000 Polish prisoners of war, including 9,000 officers.

These Polish prisoners of war were held in the Soviet Union for less than two years, and Da Lin Zi and their good brother Mustache tore their faces, and the two fought.

The Polish government-in-exile took the opportunity to sign an agreement with the Soviet Union on the issue of Polish prisoners of war, hoping that the Soviet Union would release them, and the Soviet Union, which had no food to feed 250,000 people, readily agreed.

Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

On 12 August 1941, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR issued an order: "Release Polish citizens deprived of their liberty who are still being held on the territory of the USSR either as war criminals or for other reasons".

But strangely, when they went, 250,000 were only 230,000 when they returned, and 20,000 were missing.

Most of the 20,000 missing were Polish officers, officials, intellectuals, engineers, entrepreneurs, factory owners, landowners, etc.

To put it simply, these people are all Polish elites, the most powerful military and political forces in Poland.

These people disappeared, and for more than two years these people were silent, as if the world had evaporated.

This is the "disappearing legion" that the Polish people are searching for.

So when the Germans put the "Katyn Forest Massacre" in front of the world's eyes, the Polish government-in-exile firmly believed that it was part of the 20,000 people who disappeared, and the rest must have been buried elsewhere by the Soviet Union.

But the Soviet Union did not admit it, and also bit Germany, Stalin was sure that the Germans did it, and the Soviet Union did not back the pot.

At the end of World War II, when German war criminals were tried in Nuremberg, the Soviet Union revisited the old incident and wanted to completely put this black pot on the heads of the Germans, but because it could not produce strong evidence, the pot failed.

As for Poland, it was forced to become the younger brother of the Soviet Union, and they dared not speak out about the "Katyn Forest Massacre".

As a result, the "Katyn Forest Massacre" has become a mystery that has not been answered since World War II.

It wasn't until 1990 that Mikhail Gorbachev, the last president of the Soviet Union, unraveled this half-century-old mystery:

The "Katyn Forest Massacre" was the work of the Soviet Union.

Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

So why was Stalin so ruthless back then?

First of all, I have to mention the feud between Poland and Russia, as Slavic brothers of the same origin, Poland and Russia have been fighting each other for thousands of years, and they will never be merciful as long as they have the opportunity to put each other to death.

In history, Poland was the first country to capture Moscow and capture the tsar, while Russia divided Poland three times under the leadership of the Ye Emperor, and in modern times, Stalin and his mustache once again brought Poland to its knees.

In short, it is a feud, either you die or I live.

After the overthrow of the Russian Empire, Poland was restored in World War I with the help of Soviet Russia.

In order to restore the glory of "Greater Poland", Poland declared war on Soviet Russia, and finally the Soviet army defeated the city of Warsaw, and the two sides signed the Treaty of Riga.

Poland snatched territories such as Western Ukraine from Soviet Russia, and Stalin happened to be a witness to that war.

Only Stalin has always bullied others, how can he endure others bullying himself?

This must have been one of the reasons why Stalin readily agreed to the mustache to divide Poland.

The two brothers joined forces, Stalin avenged the defeat of the year, and also continued the centuries-old grudge between Poland and Russia.

Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

Although the great revenge was rewarded, the 250,000 prisoners were really a big burden, and they had to take care of the food and send people to guard it.

Because it was a critical moment in preparing for war, the Soviet Union on the one hand because these prisoners of war consumed a lot of manpower and material resources, on the other hand, it also had to face the resistance of Polish prisoners of war.

So what to do?

When the Soviet Union was worried about this, the head of the secret service, Beria, wrote to Stalin and executed more than 20,000 prisoners of war, mainly important generals of the Polish army and important figures in the economic and cultural fields.

Stalin did not hesitate for a second and decisively signed the approval.

His only goal was to permanently destroy Poland's independent status, and these elites were the backbone of Polish society, and killing them was equivalent to killing Poland.

At the beginning of April 1940, the tragedy began to unfold, and hundreds of Polish officers and elite people from all walks of life were taken into cars from the three prisoner-of-war camps of Starobelisk, Kozelsk and Ostashkov and secretly transported to the Katyn forest for execution.

By mid-May of that year, a total of 4,421 people had been killed and buried in eight large pits dug by the Germans.

In addition to the Katyn forest, 3820 people were shot in the Starobelisk camp, 6311 in the Ostashkov concentration camp, and 7305 in other prisoner-of-war camps and prisons.

Together with the 4,421 people shot in Katyn Forest, the total is 21,857.

Poland: On the execution of prisoners of war, no one is worse than me, Stalin personally created the "Katyn massacre"

This is the "Katyn Forest Massacre" created by Stalin himself.

This tragedy can no longer be attributed to the cruelty of war, but to a unilateral and inhuman and intolerable massacre, which is a criminal decision.

When Gorbachev admitted full Soviet responsibility for the Katyn incident, calling it "one of the grave crimes of Stalinism."

Fortunately, the truth of this tragedy came out half a century later, and I hope that there will be no second Katyn tragedy in the world.
