According to foreign media reports, the Ethiopian-flagged container ship "SHEBELLE" was released by the United Nations Yemen verification and verification mechanism and docked at the Red Sea port of Hodeidah on the 25th. This is the first ship of "general trade cargo" received by the Port of Hodeidah since 2016.

Under U.N. Security Council resolutions, cargo ships bound for the port of Hodeidah must be carefully inspected to prevent weapons from entering Yemen. It is understood that the UN verification and verification mechanism in Yemen, which began operations in May 2016, previously only approved specific cargoes, now allows various goods to enter the port of Hodeidah.
