Gu Ailing is the first FIS freestyle skiing women's halfpipe Grand Slam winner and the first Chinese athlete to win the X Games. Gu Ailing won two golds and one silver at the Beijing Winter Olympics, winning the women's big air and freestyle skiing women's halfpipe gold medals, and also won the silver medal in slopestyle in the slopestyle of Yushu, becoming the first athlete to win multiple gold medals in her Olympic debut.
