Xinmin Evening News (Reporter Zhang Yuyun) Tulips represent the confession of love and eternal love, and on February 14, "Valentine's Day", the newlyweds in Shanghai received this beautiful blessing at the marriage registration office.

This morning, co-sponsored by the Dutch Cathay Tulip Association, Shanghai Flower Association and China Flower and Horticulture Magazine, and jointly organized by Oriental International Group Shanghai Flower Development Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Asmir Horticulture Co., Ltd., the theme activity "'Yu' See You, Have Honor in This Life" "flash mob" at the marriage registry offices in Huangpu District and Hongkou District, presenting Oriental Cathay tulip bouquets to 100 couples who came to tie the knot on February 14, witnessing the happy moments of the couple with tulips symbolizing eternal love.

Tulips originated in the Tian Shan Mountains on the mainland, spread to Turkey via the Silk Road, and were then known as the national flower of the Netherlands. The Dutch Cathay tulip presented this time is a rare variety in the tulip family, and its unique parrot mouth shape and purple luster contain the auspicious meaning of "purple gas coming east". Holding a public welfare pop-up event on the occasion of Valentine's Day not only encourages everyone to say love out loud, but also a good wish for the couple.

At 9 a.m., the Marriage Registry Office of the Huangpu District Civil Affairs Bureau welcomed the first couple to receive the license, and the couple was overjoyed after receiving a bouquet of 10 tulips representing perfection. At 10 o'clock, a simple and unique certificate ceremony was held in front of everyone's witness, and the couple walked onto the red carpet with tulips in their hands, holding up an eternal responsibility together.

At the Hongkou District Marriage Registry Office, the couples who came to receive their certificates also received bouquets of flowers with joy and shared their happy stories of meeting each other. The relevant person in charge of the Hongkou District Marriage Registry Office said: "Marriage is beautiful and sacred, and it is accompanied by new tests and challenges while opening a new stage of life. We hope that every couple who come here to register their marriage will never forget their original intention, cherish the fate of this encounter in this life, and patiently manage their marriage and family in the days to come. ”
