#My Spring Festival Holiday Summary#
This Spring Festival fulfilled the family's wish to return to their hometown for the New Year. Adults and children are happy.
Child's joy: catching fish, feeding ducklings, riding electric scooters, picking vegetables, picking strawberries, and most importantly, fireworks!
I met relatives I hadn't seen in years: two uncles, two aunts. Although my grandparents are no longer there, my mother's five siblings still get together every year on the second day of the Lunar New Year to kill chickens and ducks for a New Year's celebration dinner.
I attended a high school reunion:
Although there are not many old classmates who return to their hometown for the New Year, it is a small party. About a dozen people walked back to their alma mater and took a lot of nostalgic photos. Sigh that time flies, the years are not there, things are different, but it still evokes many good memories. The three years of high school are three years of hard work and knowledge reserves.
I also saw the changes in my home county:
In the past two years, parents have focused on cultural and ecological tours, repaired the river channel, preserved the arcade culture, created a Han culture museum, and added citizen parks.
There is also the company of the Sicong family settled in, a large comprehensive square no less than a big city.
My hometown is getting better and more beautiful.
It's time for the return trip, and my parents can't wait to load everything they can eat at home. If you can't lift it, you will also bring a few vegetables grown at home.
Although the journey back was hard, this trip was well worth it. Deeply appreciate the weight of "go home often".
