The third season of the American TV series "Emily in Paris" has promoted the tourism industry in Paris and led to the climax of foreigners buying property in Paris, but local Parisians lament that the reality is not as beautiful as the movie depicts.

The American web series "Emily in Paris", which premiered on Netflix in October 2020, tells the story of Emily, who is in her 20s from Chicago, USA, and introduces the life of the French from an American perspective, with fashion elements and carefully crafted Paris street scenes, attracting a large number of tourists in Paris, and the third season of the show has been launched in more than 90 countries around the world around Christmas in December 2022.

The show's online hit led to a roadmap of Emily's life in Paris: her office, frequented bakery, Jardin du Luxembourg, the black and white pillars of the Palais Royal and the Floral Café became must-visit routes for her fans to visit Paris. Netflix has even recruited expert guides from Paris to show visitors to the filming locations of the films, claiming that fans love to visit the cities where the most popular TV series are located.

The French press also re-featured the Michelin-starred Jules Verne restaurant on the Eiffel Tower, the Piscine Molitor public swimming pool in Paris, the Palais-Royal park, the Parc de la Villette, which often hosts open-air film festivals, La Fête des Tuileries (Tuileries), the Musée d'Orsay, The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the La Trompette bleue of the jazz club, the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, and the small restaurant Le Relais de la Butte, founded in 1672 in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, are included in Emily's "travel" itinerary.

Local people said that since the performance of the play, there have been many girls dressed similarly, they bring the berets that Emily likes, the protagonist of the play, purchased in sightseeing spots, and hold croissants that Emily likes and are popularized by the TV series.
