Shu Chang, director of the Management Committee of Moyu County Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, introduced that Moyu County is one of the main walnut producing areas in Xinjiang, with a walnut planting area of 450,000 mu, accounting for 69% of the county's forest fruit planting area. In recent years, Moyu County has promoted the upgrading of the walnut industry by building a standardized walnut planting base of 203,000 mu and introducing and cultivating intensive processing enterprises.

Thanks to new technologies of comprehensive walnut management such as fine pruning, pest control, smart fertilization, and frost prevention, Friendship Village has achieved double improvement in walnut quality and yield in recent years. In 2022 alone, 85 demonstration parks such as Friendship Village will be built in Moyu County, covering an area of more than 19,000 mu.
Walking into Xinjiang Kunlun Taste Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., I saw that on the streamlined production line, walnuts were cleaned, dried, crushed, pressed, precipitated, sterilized and other processes, and then canned, labeled, packed into boxes, and bottles of bright walnut oil were processed.

Walnut branches have been crushed and returned to the field and 200,000 cubic meters of farm manure have been added, and the resource utilization rate of livestock and poultry manure has reached 96%. At present, all 110,000 mu of walnut bases in the park have passed green certification.
