On January 18, Aston Martin unveiled the DBS 770 Ultimate. Its body features a new front spoiler, a bonnet with horseshoe vents, and a deeper rear diffuser, while the suspension, steering, gearbox and underbody structure are improved, enhancing the steering wheel feel, responsiveness and agility, and the V12 engine is powered by an upgraded V12 engine.
Externally, the bonnet incorporates horseshoe-shaped vents, and the new front spoiler integrates two outboard air ducts for enhanced cooling. The front grille is made of twill carbon fiber, and the front fenders add shark fin vents.
The new carbon fiber side skirts lower the side profile, creating a lower stance and accentuating the muscular feel of the body. The new rear diffuser improves the aerodynamic balance between the front and rear and also makes the DBS 770 Ultimate more recognizable.
Sports Plus seats in semi-aniline leather and Alcantara are used in trimmed and perforated surfaces. The interior is available with custom two-tone stitching in contrasting colours consistent with piping and stitching, a central armrest with custom trim straps and logos, and steering columns with carbon fibre paddle shifters.
In the chassis part, the front and rear reinforcement structures are added, which increases the lateral stiffness of the front axle by 25%, improves the road feel and steering response, and also increases the overall torsional rigidity of the body by 3%, thus achieving a perfect balance of driving dynamics.
It is powered by a 5.2-liter 4-cam 60-degree angle V12 engine, with improved intake and ignition settings and 7% turbo pressure, a maximum power of 770 hp and a maximum torque of 900 Nm, mated to ZF's 8-speed automatic transmission, and the rear axle is equipped with an LSD mechanical limited-slip differential.
As Aston Martin's flagship GT model, the DBS 770 Ultimate is also available in coupe and volante bodies, and the DBS 770 Ultimate will be limited to 300 coupes and 199 volantes. Of course, the release of the DBS 770 Ultimate also marks the end of this generation of DBS.
